McLean, VA - Senator Fred Thompson has a new video message today at www.Fred08.com calling Hillary Clinton's new health insurance proposal "enough to make you sick."

On Tuesday, September 18th, the Associated Press reported, "[Hillary Clinton] said she could envision a day when 'you have to show proof to your employer that you're insured as a part of the job interview -- like when your kid goes to school and has to show proof of vaccination,' but said such details would be worked out through negotiations with Congress."
In his video message, Thompson asks, "What is it that makes liberals think the best way to help somebody is to punish them?"

Thompson continues, "I understand Hillary Clinton has just acknowledged that her new health care plan could require somebody to actually prove they've got insurance before they can get a job. You know, a job - the thing that would help you get health care. That kind of mindset is that the government knows best and if you don't agree, then you're just going to have to pay for it, one way or the other. The best way to improve the best health care in the world, which is what we've got right here in the United States, is to expand choice, not punishment.

"To some Democrats, choice to them is like a cross is to a vampire - they don't like to see it coming down the road. Hillary says, don't worry about it - the punishment - because the exact punitive measures they'd come up with would be worked out by congress. That's a thought scary enough to make you sick."

When did the global warming hoax die? Historians are likely to pinpoint 2007. It will take another decade to insure it cannot be revived, but the avalanche of scientific studies and the cumulative impact of scientists who have publicly joined those who debunked the lies on which it has been based will be noted as the tipping point.

It took some forty years to unmask the Piltdown Man hoax that began in 1912 alleging that the skull of an ancient ancestor of man had been found in England. Any number of British anthropologists unwittingly contributed to the hoax by confirming the authenticity of the skull until it was found that the jaw of an orangutan had been cunningly attached. The unmasking of “global warming” has taken less than half that time.

The hoax has mainly been a creation of the United Nations Environmental Program and took off in earnest with the 1992 Earth Summit. It culminated in 1997 with the Kyoto Climate Control Protocol, an agreement to reduce the generation of carbon dioxide, a
“greenhouse” gas (CO2) said to be the cause of an accelerated warming of the earth. By 2005, 140 nations had ratified the pact, agreeing to reduce CO2 emissions. Notably exempt from the pact were nations such as China and India. Few, if any, nations have ever met the limits that require reductions in CO2 production, attributed to the use of so-called “fossil fuels” such as oil, natural gas, and coal.

The United States refused to ratify the Kyoto Protocol and, at one point, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution rejecting it. This has not kept the U.S. from spending billions on so-called “climate research” intended to address climate change with the aim of reducing or capturing CO2 emissions. Had that money been devoted to maintenance of the nation’s infrastructure, tragic events such as the collapse of the Minnesota bridge over the Mississippi might have been averted.

In August, it was revealed that NASA scientists had corrected an error that resulted in 1934 replacing 1998 as the warmest year on record in the U.S. Repeatedly the data put forth to justify the global warming hoax has been debunked.

As Dr. David Wojick recently noted, “The real significance is that such a small correction can make such a big difference. The reason is that the much touted warming of the last three decades is merely a return to earlier warm times, after an equally long period of cooling…There is no way this pattern constitutes a warming trend…In short, there is no evidence for human-induced global warming in the U.S. temperature record.”

“Anthropogenic (man-made) global warming bites the dust,” declared astronomer Dr. Ian Wilson after reviewing a new study that has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Geophysical Research authored by a Brookhaven National Lab scientist Stephen Schwartz. A former Harvard physicist, Dr. Lubos Motl, said the new study has reduced global warming fear-mongers to “playing the children’s game to scare each other.”

The new research concludes that the Earth’s climate is only about one-third as sensitive to carbon dioxide as a series of reports by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has asserted for years. The IPCC reports have been increasingly dismissed as deliberate distortions of data that amount to little more than propaganda to advance the “global warming” hoax.

Having testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works, paleoclimate scientist, Bob Carter, noted in a June 18, 2007 essay that global warming has stopped. There has been little, if any, global warming since 1979, a period over which atmospheric CO2 has increased by 17 percent. Thus, the connection between CO2 and “global warming”, the key to the claims that it is occurring and will increase has been proven wrong.

Dr. Roy Spencer, another critic of the global warming hoax, has noted that “At least 80 percent of the Earth’s natural greenhouse effect is due to water vapor and clouds, and those are largely under the control of precipitation systems.” The computer models used by advocates of global warming have been unable to include the actions and impact of clouds, thus rendering them seriously flawed.

Prior to and during 2007, one research study after another revealed that the central premise of “global warming” lacks any scientific merit. One by Dr. Tim Patterson concluded that, “The earth temperature does respond to the solar cycle as confirmed by numerous studies.” The solar cycle is known to be about eleven years in length and reflects increased or decreased sunspot (magnetic storms) activity. It is the Sun that largely determines the Earth’s temperature, which is never the same throughout the planet, given seasonal and solar changes.

In 2007, meteorologist Anthony Watts who led a team of researchers revealed that, “The U.S. National Climate Data Center is in the middle of a scandal. Their global observing network, the heart and soul of surface weather measurement, is a disaster.” It had been discovered that many of the measuring stations were placed in locations such as on hot black asphalt, next to trash burn barrels, beside heat exhaust vents, and even attached to hot chimneys and above outdoor grills!

Determining the Earth’s temperature, says Bjarne Andresen, a professor at The Niels Borh Institute, University of Copenhagen, collaborated with two other professors to write an article in Science Daily, saying, “It is impossible to talk about a single temperature for something as complicated as the climate of the Earth.” Indeed, “differences in temperature drive the processes and create the storms, sea currents, thunder, etc. which make up the climate.”

In May 2007, Dr. Reid Bryson, the founding chairman of the Department of Meteorology at the University of Wisconsin dismissed fears of increased man-made CO2 in the atmosphere. He called the “global warming” argument “absurd.” As to any increase in the Earth’s temperature, he said, “Of course it’s going up. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the industrial Revolution, because we’re coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because we’re putting carbon dioxide in the air.”

On August 15, 2007, meteorologist Joseph D’Aleo, the first Director of Meteorology at The Weather Channel and former chairman of the American Meteorological Society’s Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting, said, “If the atmosphere was a 100 story building, our annual anthropogenic (man-made) CO2 contribution today would be equivalent to the linoleum on the first floor.”

There will be dying gasps to this hoax, not the least of which is a planned $100 million media blitz by Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, but the public is already far more concerned about instability in the Middle East, the forthcoming national elections, and shocks to the U.S. economy to accord such an effort much credibility.

Hoaxes have a life of their own and “global warming” is now coming to an end. Mark 2007 as the year it began to seriously bleed to death.

I'll say it again: UniversaL Healthcare is Socilaized Medicine and has no place in a democratic America. There is no constitutional right to healthcare in America. It is federal law that the hospital must treat them even though they have no Health Insurance. Those of us who do have Health Insurance pick up the tab. Remember this the next time you see one of those tear-jerking ads on TV about the poor huddled masses dying because we don't care enough to GIVE them free health care. Remember... that is so much BUNK! We already do that ... and have been doing that for many decades!

The Religion of Peace is anything BUT! Americans need to begin NOW, a movement to amend the US constitution to outlaw the practice of Islam within the US.

Look, the stated goal of Islam is to create a Caliphate of Islam worldwide. Now, it is clear that means doing away with all other forms of government and ruling the world by/with Islamic law… in other words a Theocracy. They understand that to fulfill that goal, they must take down the US FIRST! And the battle is on!

To be honest, the non-Islamic world is losing the war Islam declared on us!! In order not to offend a people, any people, we have allowed Islam free rein in the temporarily free world, especially the western nations. Europe is already so saturated with Islam that, at a moments notice, a rebellion by Islamists would swamp every European country… with the possible exception of the UK.

Islam has one reason to exist. That is to spread Islam at the point of a gun, a bomb, a knife, or flying loaded airliners into tall buildings! The Islamists are on a crusade of their own to conquer and convert the remainder of the world to their so-called “religion of peace”.

America is a juicy plum, ripe for the picking. We have set ourselves up as a free society and a free society is simply a playground for Islamic nuts!

We have a choice in America. We can sit back and allow a complete takeover of America by Islam, and a conversion of Judeo-Christian America into an Islamic hellhole or we can fight back! But… and here is the BIG B U T: We must change our laws, we must, in fact, change our constitution.

When the Founders of America prepared the US Constitution… and especially the first amendment, no one, I mean… NO ONE had the vaguest notion that some wild-eyed bunch would ever attempt to take over the country under the guise of religion. It was a much more innocent time. Now, not only are we told, to our faces, that THAT is, indeed, the mission of the Islamists, they are actively fighting our troops in armed combat all over the world to force their religion on us. Their stated goal is the conquest and conversion of America to Islam.

Islam is quite likely the most dangerous religion on the planet. Democracy cannot co-exist with Islam. Islam won’t allow it. Christianity cannot peacefully co-exist with Islam. Again, Islam won’t allow it.

Here in America we have a weapon against Islam we cannot use. We have
taken our ability to outlaw that religion off the table and mandated into law everyone’s right to worship as they please. “Freedom of Religion” it is called. But currently, that portion of the First Amendment is working against us and to the advantage of our enemy. We have to change that. We have to use every weapon in our arsenal against the takeover of this nation by a rogue religion bent on our destruction.

On the right hand sidebar of this blogsite is a poll asking the simple question… if you would support a constitutional amendment to outlaw the practice of Islam in America. It’s a simple question. One, unfortunately, we are going to be forced to ask ourselves often in the coming years.

I intend to write my Senators and my Congressman and ask that they consider drafting an amendment to the US Constitution that would do just that.

You may think this is the utterance of "another nut". But, I assure you, the day is coming when Americans will be begging the Congress to outlaw Islam and root out, and jail, any practitioners of the same.

Maybe I’m different, but when I am openly threatened, I tend to take it seriously. That comes from growing up as a scrawny kid and being forced to accept all threats to my well being at face value and striking first… with everything I had. For me it was survival. I DID survive. I intend to continue to survive and I’d like to secure the survival of my grandkids, too.

Amending the Constitution is something we can do now, today, to get ahead of the curve. We begin by planting the seed in the minds of our national legislators. Let them know that such an amendment is acceptable to the vast majority of Americans. It would also serve notice on our Islamic enemy that we will do whatever is necessary to defend ourselves against the threat offered by their evil intent for our nation… and for us as individuals.

It is reminiscent of the freed slaves who followed after Bill Sherman’s army when he marched through the South, burning everything in sight, as he marched to the sea. The Yankee troops finally built a pontoon bridge across a river and fled across it destroying the bridge as they went stranding the poor, hungry, former slaves on the opposite bank on the river, abandoned. Some drowned trying to swim the river.

The dems are counting on their followers to continue to follow, unthinkingly, Just as those former slaves did… and support this erosion of American liberty and freedom we choose to call “socialized medicine”. Socialism is straight out of the depths of hell and socialized medicine hails from the darkest, deepest, blackest hole at the very bottom of Hades.

Those of you who value your freedom, your liberty, and your health … now is the time to gear up and begin the fight we must make against HillaryCare Two, socialized medicine. We cannot begin too soon. This is a fight for freedom and we cannot allow ourselves to lose even a single battle. “Once again… to the Barricades”!
