Acting FCC Chair, Michael Copps, is reported to have said the new political climate marks a new opportunity to remake the nation’s airwaves so that they can better reflect the country’s diversity.

The democrats are going to muzzle right wing radio. I have no doubt about it. It won’t be called “The Fairness Doctrine” but it will do the same thing… only worse.

There is an excellent article at CNS News.Com titled: “Acting FCC Chair Sees Government Role in Pushing ‘Media Diversity” that you really need to read. You’ll find it HERE. In the article Acting Federal Communications Commission Chairman Michael Copps says that some of those rules and regulations would include new licensing requirements that focus on public interest and station ownership. “I think we have a tremendous opportunity going forward to reinvigorate our media,” Copps continued, “to ensure that the public airwaves truly deliver the kind of news and information that we need to sustain our democratic dialogue and to reflect the great diversity of our country; its races and ethnic groups and culture and music and arts. Commissioner Copps went to say: “that the new political climate marked a new opportunity to remake the nation’s airwaves so that they can better reflect the country’s diversity.”

As a retired broadcaster, Copps words sent chills racing up and down my spine! Did you know the FCC overturned the fairness doctrine in 1987? Oh, yes! They discarded the rule because, contrary to its purpose, it failed to encourage the discussion of more controversial issues. There were also concerns that it was in violation of First Amendment free speech principles.

The Democrats never change. It’s always the “same song, next verse”. And that’s what we have here. They’re going to force legislation on the nation’s broadcasters and the American public. You see, they must. It is the way they insure their hold on power. They MUST control YOUR sources of information. The Mainstream Media is basically the “Media Wing of the Democratic Party.” The independent broadcasters, and the community stations, and the company owned chains of stations, must be brought to heel… and the “NEW Fairness Doctrine” will do it.

There is absolutely no doubt the Democrats will make every attempt to re-impose this Stalinist-type “law” or “regulation”… if not by the Congress, then certainly by installing their minions among the commissioners at the FCC where the rule will be issued, again, “with the force of law”. It is the Democrats way of “controlling the flow of information” and it is right out of the “dictator’s” handbook. They’re intent upon ramming their theocracy of socialism, down the throats of Americans in any way they can. Their “NEW Fairness Doctrine” will stifle the free expression of opinion and strangle free speech on the broadcast media in the United States.

Do not kid yourself. If the socialist, in charge of the US government today, are successful in controlling the free flow of information on the broadcast media, they will not hesitate to attack the internet, or the way Americans use the internet, to express opinions other than those of the left wing in this country.

Those of us on the right side of the political spectrum in America warned Americans of the crazed power trip the left would indulge in if given control of the US government. It has only just begun. Their “child-like” naiveté is dangerous to the nation. Under Democrat/Socialist control, freedom of speech is tolerated so long as that speech is censored by them and agrees with their party’s philosophy, which, of course, is subject to change at any given time in order to maintain control of the reins of power by their party.

Voices from the right have warned, many, many, times that Democrats out of power are funny, but IN power they are dangerous! That statement was never meant to be funny! It was always meant as a warning to Americans that Democrat control of the US government is as close to a political dictatorship as is possible, at this moment in time, in this country. But little by little, the American will for freedom, and free expression, has been dampened down. Each new generation of Americans has come to value their freedom less than the generation preceding them. Soon, American freedom will be no more. Care to guess who will be in control of the US government on that red-letter day?

President Reagan vetoed the last attempt by the Left Wing Congress to resurrect this Marxist attempt at information control, and control of free speech. We conservatives warned America that if a Democrat was elected President in 2008, and the Democrats maintained control of the Congress… the Fairness Doctrine, in some form, would certainly, without a doubt, be one of the first bills passed from the new Congress and signed into law by the Democrat/Socialist President.

In order to understand Democrats/Socialists you must remember… they exist for only two things in life. That is… the acquisition of power and maintaining that power!

If I were still in the broadcasting business today, I’d be investigating ways to alter my station’s formats to get around whatever our socialist government finally hands down from on high as regards their idea of “fairness”. Their intention to muzzle right wing talk radio is a fire burning deep in their bellies and driving them, like a drug-crazed dope fiend, to destroy this “thorn in their flesh.” And when that mission is accomplished… guess where they will turn their attention? The Internet.

Conservative blogging sites, such as the one you are reading right now, are certainly within the field of fire of the US socialist government. If I were a betting man, I’d wager they have socialist internet techies working, even as I write, on some way the government can stop writers like “yours truly” from publishing our warnings to America of the diabolical machinations of our new government.

Who cares about the Constitution! Why they believe it is a “living document” meaning it is subject to change and to the “change of interpretation” at their whim. These are the folks who find things in the constitution whenever it suits their fancy, things that you and I can’t find with a magnifying glass! They find things that are not in the constitution, but things a left-loaded Supreme Court is more than willing to assure us are REALLY there!

Do not kid yourself. The new socialist government of the United States IS coming after right wingers on the Internet. I don’t know just how they will do it, I only know they WILL do it. As soon as they fully understand that we are driving their bedrock supporters, the print media, out of business, you’d better believe they will come after us with everything they have… and they have a lot to throw at us.

Yes, the Super Highway of Information, the Internet, looms large as a target of the Democrat/Socialists. I say, again, do not think they have no plans to silence the voices of dissent, that is to say… the voices from the right, on this “network of citizen journalists”! When you think about who our government is today you will understand why they cannot allow the Internet to exist as it currently exists.

At this moment, the conservative blogosphere is an irritant that cannot be ignored much longer. Our constant, persistent, drumbeat of dissent against their Socialist/Marxist philosophy will eventually awaken America to their dark intent. When that is coupled with their inevitable overreaching Americans will find they want their old government back. I mean the Representative Republic the Founders gave us. You remember, don’t you…the country with an economic system based on capitalism and not socialism.

So rest assured, they will be coming after the Internet. They have no choice. We bloggers are a danger to them… so we must be silenced. Conservative bloggers should be prepared. Make ready. It’s coming!

Does anybody seriously doubt there are human clones in existence today?

Ok… sounds like science fiction… right? Yeah, well, we have the scientific knowledge to do it now, and research is already well advanced in the creation of genetically modified human embryos possible leading to “designer babies.”

We have cloned mice, cows, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats…. how about a human? “NO!”, you say. Well, how do you KNOW? Huh? I mean… just because it’s against the law (in some US states), or it’s immoral, or some such objection, you don’t really believe that some scientist, somewhere, isn’t going to step forward, one of these days, hold a press conference, and sitting beside him, or her, will be a young male or female, oh, say, 8 or 9 years old. The scientist will introduce the young male, or female, to the world as the first human clone.

Oh, it’s going to happen… count on it.

So, when it DOES happen and we come to realize that we can manufacture additional humans… what will we do with them?

Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself here. Maybe we should first decide what, exactly they are. Synthetic humans? Manufactured humans? Artificial humans? I don’t know. I don’t even have a lexicon, a vocabulary, if you will, for it.

OK, there are already suggestions that we breed them, kind of like cattle, and slaughter them for their organs. No more organ shortages!

Then there are those who feel mankind has reached a point in our evolution at which we can produce clones to do the “heavy lifting” for us… I mean, the work! We could assign clones, upon their birth (?) to involuntary servitude… sometimes referred to as slavery.

Still others feel we could teach them, from birth, in the “art of war” and train them as warriors to fight our battles and our wars. I mean… if a clone soldier is killed, no one has to go notify the family. No flag draped coffins flown into to Delaware for the news cameras to splash all over the network news. (Oh, I forgot. The Clinton Administration stopped the newsies from covering those.)

Say a member of your family has passed away. Scientists believe it is possible to clone the deceased from a piece of the departed’s DNA. You wouldn’t be bringing them back from the dead… exactly. You’d be re-creating them… we think. Sounds a bit gruesome to me.

There is no federal law banning cloning a human being in the United States of America. That may come as a surprise to you. The Federal Drug Administration demands that you get their permission before you clone a human. So far as the Federal Government is concerned… that’s it. There are a few states, which have passed laws making it illegal inside those respective states.

Cloning is, indisputably, in it’s early stages. Much is yet to be learned about implanting embryos that are NOT defective. Many of the cloned animals have had serious problems in various organs such as defective hearts, lungs, and so forth. An animal can be “put down” if they are born with serious health problems. But… what do you do when you have created a human clone and that “clone” has a really bad heart? Do you euthanize them? Would that be considered a legal “mercy killing”? Would it be considered murder? This is a serious question and one we, as a society, are not yet ready to answer.

And what about the spiritual aspects of cloning? Will a cloned human have a soul? I don’t know! Science has yet to determine what a soul is, or even if such a thing as “a soul” exists.

These are serious questions we, as a society, are not yet ready and, in some cases, able to answer.

Thing is… we had better GET ready. One of these days, in the not too distant future, you’re going to be having your morning coffee, turn on the TV, to catch the news of developments overnight, and that press conference we described at the beginning of this piece will be in progress. Will you be ready then? I doubt it.

We have “Europeanized” America. In November of 2006 (And again in November of 2008) America placed the crowning achievement of the Socialist movement, a Democrat/Socialist government, in charge of America. They offered, “cradle to the grave” Nanny Statehood to America and… Americans bought it! Karl Marx has finally triumphed over reason in America!

It no longer matters that socialism has failed everywhere it has been tried on the globe, Americans “felt” they wanted the promises Socialism offered. Never mind the fact that socialism cannot deliver, just the fact that the socialist/democrats made the promises was an emotional boost to that half of our nation who are so unable to think, work, or produce anything without the government underwriting their entire existence.

Just look at the crowds lusting after Obama! They WANT something. They want to RECEIVE something, to GET something, from the government. Something FREE! Never mind that there is no such thing. They’re not bright enough to grasp that concept. Hope? Hope for WHAT, exactly? Change? Change to what exactly?

So now America is no better than the European nations who have depended on America to be their protector, their international police force, and their Big Brother. Once again, Europe is on it’s own. They simply have not recognized that fact yet. Already their enemies are making plans for the takeover of many eastern European nations and those bordering the Atlantic. It will not be long in coming.

But, what of America? Well, America is an idea whose time, apparently, has passed. Much as ancient Rome collapsed in on itself… America has imploded. That strong central government, which began with the Lincoln Administration, married to “feel good politics” and the steady march of socialism has sealed America’s fate. America, it would seem, is done for.

Soon there will be an ethereal world government ruled my Islamofacists who will keep the peoples in check with the ever present threat of the imposition of the death sentence for any infraction of their religious code.

It can’t happen here, in America, you say??? Well, there was a time, not too long ago, when I felt that way too. But no longer. Americans have now decided there is nothing worth fighting and giving one’s life for. Nothing! Americans have decided that SLAVERY is the only lifestyle acceptable to them. We have become willing to give up that thing our forefathers gave their lives for… freedom. It’s just too much work. Freedom costs too much. Slavery, on the other hand, costs nothing… and we do not have to fight, or do any of those disagreeable things which freedom demands. No, slavery is the way to go.

That rot, at our core, has finally eaten its way to the surface of America. As evidence of that, we offer up the following:

The American Family is a joke. It no longer exists. As a matter of fact, we can no longer define what a family is! Two fathers? Two Mommies? Men married to men. Women married to women. See what I mean? There is no home life in America today. Home is simply a place one sleeps. That’s all.

America has opened the doors on what used to be our borders and thrown away the key. We have invited the hordes from all over the world to move in and take over. Now, we Americans have to learn THEIR language instead of the way it ought to be. We have become “two nations inside one country”.

Our children are raised by “caregivers” at the various daycare centers and then handed off to “teachers” in the “government indoctrination centers” sometimes called public schools. And finally, they are urged to finish their leftist/socialist indoctrination at the so-called institutions of higher learning where the REAL socialist ideals are implanted. Then… they are set free to wreak havoc on the nation their forefathers bled and died to provide for them.

We have feminized our churches, our government, our military, and our businesses, even the Main Stream Media. Woman have been taught they can have it All. Nobody mentioned the cost to her. Now, it no longer matters.

We have gangs of young people, little more than children, roaming our streets, as the barbarians and vandals of old, striking terror in the hearts of the people in their communities. Why? Because they have no home, no parents, and especially no mother, to teach them in the way they should go. Now, our own children are our enemies.

Our men are no longer men. They are something well short of manhood (Metrosexuals!). Men have been taught that being male, and acting as a male OUGHT to act, is somehow abnormal. The American male is so confused he has lost his identify. He is a pitiful sight. When the maleness of a society goes, so does that society. For the foundation of any society is based on the males of that society. The protection of that society is the burden of the same males. When those males are taught that they ought not take up those responsibilities… their reason for existence is lost, and they are confused, and that society is doomed. I offer Europe as an example.

Women, attempting to take up that burden of male leadership, are a pitiful and pathetic sight. Estrogen is no substitute for testosterone! As a result there is little if any action, and when action does take place it is based upon emotions rather than reason. (Example: The US House of Representatives!) It is the worse possible combination for any society seeking to continue its existence.

Look at the Mainstream Media in America today. Try viewing a news show on the TV. You will find more women than men as anchors. Why? Because they are pleasant to look upon and… sex sells the products of the sponsors… and no matter what they tell you… that is the sole reason those blonde cuties are in front of the cameras! If the networks were actually serious about delivering the news in a powerful, impactful, way, the anchor would be a male. That, of course is NOT what they are interested in. The networks are interested in SELLING the airtime and making money. The news, itself, has become only filler, between the commercials and the entertainment, as the networks rake in the loot.

Our churches have become feminized. Women in the pulpits, in the office of Bishop (strictly against Scripture) and, as a result, their membership rolls are shrinking. The mainstream denominations are losing membership in droves! Visit any Mainstream Denomination’s Sunday Worship Services and count the women in attendance as opposed to the men in attendance. You will quickly see that men are staying home. In my case, I don’t need a woman in the pulpit telling me how to behave. My mother took care of that… and my wife took over from her!

Our military can no longer win wars. Why? Because we are too concerned over how the actions we need to take, to secure victory, will be perceived by the remainder of the world. That is most certainly not a manly trait. Even our soldiers are being put on trial for killing the enemy! That tell you anything about the lack of commitment to victory??? It ought to!

Having said all the above, and expecting to be boiled in oil for it, I ask only that you think about it. Look around you. The evidence is everywhere. America is but a shell of her former self. The country has a mortal; a terminal, illness and any reasonable person would not expect recovery.

Watching a strong man wither away and die is always painful to those who love him. That is the sort of pain I feel as I watch my country die right before my eyes.

Now that the Socialists have taken over the government of the United States, they need to insure they can maintain their control and they cannot be sure of that as long as we citizens are armed. So they MUST relieve you and I of our firearms. Enter “Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009”.

There’s a better than even chance that you haven’t heard about it. With the Mainstream Media in the United States comfortably ensconced in the pockets of the Democrats very little is being said, if anything, about the Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009. Rest assured, dear reader, it is pending federal legislation in Congress today! (H.R. 45) Representative Bobby Rush of Illinois, a Democrat, introduced the bill on January 6, 2009.
“The main objective of the bill is to provide for stricter gun control. A person would be prohibited by law from possessing a firearm unless approved by a state run system or been issued a license that would have to be renewed every five years within thirty days of the expiration date.

The Attorney General would set up a tracking system of all sales with dealers having to be licensed. Production figures of each licensed manufacturer would be made public.
All those current licensed gun owners would have two years to become certified by the Attorney General or risk losing private property or becoming a criminal.” (From Wikipedia: HERE.)

When you read the bill you quickly realize it targets all gun owners in the U.S.A.

This bill is an outrage! It seeks nothing less than to strip you and me of our 2nd Amendment constitutional right to keep and bear arms. When you read the bill you will also learn that two years after the passage of the bill, ALL FIREARMS in a citizen’s possession must be registered, not just those purchased after the bill passes, and this apparently applies to antique firearms as well. Further… every five years, if you own a firearm, you must go through a complete renewal process for each weapon you own! If you don’t do it, for whatever reason, there will be stiff penalties, which include the confiscation of your firearms and jail time with sentences as high as ten years in some cases.

And that is not even the worst of it. Nosiree! The bill also authorizes government searches without warrant, the creation of a federal bureaucracy to monitor firearm possession, etc.

With Democrats in control of the US Government, American citizens always need to guard such liberties as gun ownership even more closely. THIS is what happens when you trade freedom for security!
Back in September of 2007, we wrote the following: “What’s happening, all of a sudden, to bring on these “gun stories?” Well, the Left is feeling it’s oats right now. They have reason to believe they will win the 2008 Presidential election and… if they do… and if they retain control of the two houses of Congress, you can “bet the farm” that gun control legislation will be among the first items on the New Congress’ agenda of things to pass.”

I’m not a prophet, but I AM an ole country boy, with a smidgen of common sense, and THAT is all it took to divine where a government run by democrats would take us.

Why is gun control so popular among the Leftists of the world? Simple. As long as we citizens are armed we can shut down the Left any time we feel they have stepped too far over the line to be tolerated. They know that. They also know that they have come very close to that line on a number of occasions. They got the message. So now the socialists in charge of the US government feel they have to power to disarm us and secure their grasp on the throats of the American citizen and they’re going for it. What they fail to grasp is the fact that those of us on the Right understand that Obama, and his fellow socialists in the Congress, are on the point of the spear of the movement to transform America from a democratic republic to a socialist hellhole. It’s not going to happen without a fight.

Some of the democrats also understand that they cannot depend upon the US Military to back them up in this move to solidify their hold on America by shredding the Constitution and stripping their fellow Americans of their Second Amendment rights. The US Military are American citizens, too, and they have their own private collection of weapons. Plus, the vast majority of them favor the right to keep and bear arms… and… they took an oath to protect this country from all enemies, whether foreign or domestic. The democrats cannot trust them to back the government’s move on it’s own citizens.

Look, it’s very simple: For the Democrat’s socialist dream to be successful American citizens must give up their guns. We’re not going to do that. So, the current socialist government of the United States is going to try to take them.

The gun won this country from the Mother Country. The gun secured the remainder of the country between the two oceans and the gun has made us a free people and the gun has kept us free. So far, we have not forgotten that.

Congress had better understand. Americans are not going to give up their guns. If they pass this hellish bill into law, it will make criminals out of well over 85% of all Americans. I still have faith that my fellow Americans are willing to fight to protect their constitutional rights and their country even if that means opposing what millions of Americans consider as a rogue government in Washington.

As the US Navy Chaplain said during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor while he helped load the anti aircraft weapons firing at the Japanese warplanes slaughtering our service men and decimating out fleet: “Pass the Ammunition boys, and we’ll stay free.”

Get ready, my fellow Americans. It gives me a great deal of pain to warn you that all hell is about to break out within America.

States Seek To Regain Their Sovereign Power From The US Government!

Lawmakers in 20 states are pushing to regain their states sovereignty from the US Government under the ninth and tenth amendments to the US Constitution!

We warned this was coming many months, even years ago, in this very space. Many readers gave me grief saying that I had no idea what I was talking about, that I was blowing smoke, that I was a dumb ole redneck looking to secede from the Union. None of that was, nor is, true. The fact is that I live in the real world where people are not afraid to speak their minds.

Some months (possibly even years) back, I pointed out to readers there was information that indicated there were, at that time, 22 active secessionist movements within the United States. That information was brushed aside. So, we come to today.

Today we have lawmakers, in the state legislatures of at least 20 states, introducing bills to assist their states in re-establishing their constitutional sovereignty from the Federal Government. The federal government has just become entirely too overbearing as strong central governments always do. You might even say… as our current federal government has become.

Now, as an amateur historian, very amateurish, I stress, I have spent a good deal of time studying the period in the early to mid 1800’s when the US had reached a point similar to the one we find ourselves at today.

You see, by 1860 the Gross National Product of the southern states of America was three times that of the northern states. The southern states were providing well over 60% of the money necessary to keep the US afloat. The US government was demanding more and more of the southern states and simply would not listen when my southern ancestors complained about it to the Congress. Finally, the southern states threatened to leave the Union and set up their own country. The US Constitution did not; repeat… did not … forbid the secession of any state, at any time, for any reason. (The Articles of Confederation did bar secession unless all the states seceded. Not so, the Constitution which followed.)

Eleven states, plus parts of two more states, left the US and formed the Confederate States of America with a Constitution, a Congress, a President, an Army, a Navy, a Marine Corp, and a land area several times larger than that of the 13 original colonies when they left the Mother Country to form their own nation.

Unfortunately, the history of what happened next, over the next four years of war and then the abomination called reconstruction, has been rewritten to favor the Federal Government’s side of the dispute and it has given a permanent black eye to my region of the country. I maintain that the south would be a separate, prosperous, country today had my ancestors not been dragged back… forced back… into the Union at the point of a bayonet… all quite illegally.

I expect that many of you will be will be surprised to learn that the Federal Government was created by the states to act as a agent of the states, taking direction from the states. That has all been changed today. Today the states take orders from the Federal Government, which was originally meant to be an inferior agency. Some people around the 50 states are beginning to wake up to this fact and when enough get riled up, there will be hell to pay… all over again.

The Ninth Amendment to the US Constitution says:

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

The Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution says:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Now, you can argue this point every which way from Sunday, and it has been. But, when the smoke clears away, the tenth Amendment makes it absolutely clear that the Federal Government is limited only to the powers granted to it in the Constitution. It says so… right there in the tenth amendment!

To see that the Federal Government has exceeded it’s authority all you have to do is look around you. We, the people, are swamped with rules, and regulations, and laws handed down by the Federal Government that are smothering the states and draining our state treasuries, just as the Federal Governement did before the American Civil War. It is plain to see that the states and the Federal Government are headed for some kind of confrontation … and it won’t be pleasant.


I am convinced that the Congress we have seated today, and the President in the Oval Office today, will do more to bring about the dissolution of the United States than any government since that of Lincoln in 1860. We warned, even before the President was sworn in, that his government would over-reach. They began almost immediately. The so-called “Stimulus Bill” could well be the straw that broke the camel’s back. Eight states have introduced resolutions declaring state sovereignty under the Ninth and Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, including Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and Washington (state). Some analysts expect that in addition, another 20 states may see similar measures introduced this year, including Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Nevada, Maine, and Pennsylvania. No less than James Madison, himself, one of our Founding Fathers, wrote in “The Federalist” the following: ”The powers delegated to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the state governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, [such] as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce. The powers reserved to the several states will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people.”

Interestingly, James Madison was one of the chief writers of the US Constitution. I think it is safe to take his word as an authority on what it meant.

The plain fact is… as one state lawmaker has said… the states are tired of being treated as branches of the Federal Government. The profligate spending by the Federal Government and those unfunded mandates dumped on the states are strangling the states… just as they did to the Southern states in the 1800’s.

We Americans don’t know our own history. America has a couple of generations of Americans who believe history started they day they were born. Those of us, who have studied the past, see the warning signs flashing all around us. We are headed for a constitutional crisis, which may tear the country apart. And I am not writing of this recession, which is nowhere near as bad as the current government would have you believe. I am pointing to a power struggle between the “creator”(the states), and the “created” (the federal government).

Those Americans, who do know their history, know, all too well, that America is in another situation very similar to the one over which she fought the American Revolution and, approximately 80 years later, the American Civil War.

Am I worried? You’d better believe I am worried!

As I thought about a title for this commentary one continued to crash through into my “consciousness.” It was/is the title you see above. Nothing else would describe, in a few words, what I had on my mind.

A “Con Job” is a confidence game. It is, in fact, a heist (a theft) pulled off by first gaining the confidence of the “Mark”. The ”Mark” is the person or entity, which is the target of the heist. The Mark has something the con artist desires to steal. Understand that a con job is, more often than not, a flat-out robbery.

As I watch, read, and listen to, and about, the Obama Administration’s confidence game, being run on the American people, it infuriates me! It also saddens me. Why sad? Because I truly thought the American people had better sense than to elect a man who was so obviously NOT who he said he was. But, I was wrong!

We have said the election of Obama was a victory for American ignorance. I still believe that and as each day passes, I am being proven correct.

As the Obama Administration races to the Left into the waiting embrace of pure, raw, socialism we Americans find that we are no longer in control of our government. 53% of the American electorate simply did away with America as a democracy and replaced it with a Socialist Central Government.

As Obama goes about the country, scaring the living daylights out of the less intelligent Americans among us, he is pushing the so-called “Stimulus Bill.” It is a TROJAN HORSE BILL! Because hidden inside Obama’s Trojan Horse Bill are a number of items, which will take, more and more of our freedom away. There are additional programs intended to insure that more and more Americans find they must depend upon the government ... just to survive.

Hidden deep inside the Trojan Horse Bill are programs that will prepare the way for Universal Insurance coverage and worse. Betsy McCaughey has written a piece for Bloomberg.com titled: “Ruin Your Health With the Obama Stimulus Plan.” In it she says: “The bill’s health rules will affect “every individual in the United States” (445, 454, 479). Your medical treatments will be tracked electronically by a federal system. Having electronic medical records at your fingertips, easily transferred to a hospital, is beneficial. It will help avoid duplicate tests and errors.

One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions. … Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties.”

So we have a “clearing house” set up by the federal government for treatment(s) prescribed by YOUR doctor for YOU! The doctor diagnoses your problem and decides upon a plan of action to treat whatever ails you, but then… he must get clearance from the federal government, from the office of the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, BEFORE he can go forward with that treatment. H.I.T. might decide there is a less expensive way to treat you than the way your doctor has chosen. Such things as your age will weigh into H.I.T.’s decision as to whether to treat you at all. If your life expectance is somewhat short, why waste the taxpayer’s money? Just let Nature take its course. Of course, that might lead to your death, but hey, it is saving the taxpayer’s money… right?

There is so much more in the Trojan Horse Bill that you and I will never see, and never hear about, before it is passed into law. THAT is the REAL reason for the haste with which it is being rammed through the Congress. If they don’t move quickly, we MIGHT learn what is in it!

The people of America ought to be hanging their heads in utter shame at having elected Obama to the Presidency and bestowing power over the daily lives of the people of this country to that merry band of socialist rogues who now populate what used to be OUR Congress!

You know, nothing is so stupid looking as a stupid person so arrogant he thinks he is the smartest person in the room. We’ve all seen it. That is the image the American people are portraying to the rest of the world today.

We are so stupid we lost control of our government. We are so dumb, we have lost our country, and we are so arrogant we actually believe we are doing the right thing by trading democracy for socialism.

So, what’s next? That’s an easy question to answer. The break-up of the country is “what’s next”! It cannot be avoided.

America is split right down the middle and we all know that a nation divided cannot stand. The United States of America might still exist but it will not be a 50 state entity.

As things continue to worsen in America, over the next few years, remind yourselves that we… yes… WE Americans did this to ourselves! As the last pockets of democracy are squeezed to death by the avalanche off socialism just remember… we did it to ourselves. As states begin to reassert themselves and declare their independence from the US… remember, we did it to ourselves.

When the final chapter is written about the death of America the writers of the history books should be sure it states the cause of death as… suicide.

On “Jeopardy”, the popular quiz show, they have a category called “Stupid Answers” in which the answer is so obvious, posed in the question, that it is virtually impossible to get it wrong.

Unfortunately, we are afflicted by too many stupid answers to very real issues and needs, the most fundamental of which is energy. At the very heart of our society and economy is the dependence upon and need for uninterrupted and increased energy, primarily electricity.

The answers we have been hearing are the worst possible. Over and over again we are told that the U.S. must become more dependent on “alternative, clean” energy, meaning solar and wind energy. These represent about 1% of all the energy the nation consumes at present. Neither comes close to the energy produced by coal which represents over 50% of all the electricity we consume daily. Nuclear produces an additional 20%.

The utility that serves much of New Jersey, my home State, Public Service Electric & Gas recently ran an advertisement headlined “Caution: Blackouts Ahead…” The ad said that “The experts responsible for maintaining reliability on our electric grid flatly predict that we are risking catastrophic power outages in New Jersey if we don’t upgrade our system.”

In the great national debate about the nation’s infrastructure, perhaps no other issue is of more importance, other than the way electricity is produced, than the way it is delivered. Those power lines are the very heart of the way our nation functions. PSE&G is ready to spend $750 million to upgrade its part of the grid, estimated to begin suffering overloads in 2012. Opposing those upgrades is a phalanx of environmental organizations and a regulatory approval process that borders on the insane.

In the meantime, the cost of solar energy credits in New Jersey has jumped to as much as $675 a megawatt-hour for 2009. The credits are paid to solar developers for the energy they produce over a year. The purpose is to boost solar energy production despite the fact that it is the least efficient and most costly way of providing electricity.
Take away the credits and the utilities could spend that money on expanding existing coal-fired and nuclear plant production. This is the classic stupid answer to a real need.

Within the energy industry, all of this is well known. Last August, writing for a leading website devoted to the industry, EnergyPlus.Net, Joseph Welch, the CEO of ITC Holdings Corporation, wrote that “the probability of a second devastating blackout is very likely”, recalling one that five years ago left 50 million Americans in the northeast and Midwest without electricity in the largest blackout in North American history.

A partial, but stupid answer was provided by the 2005 Energy Act requiring reliability standards for the transmission grid, while at the same time dispensing federal largess to solar, wind, biofuel, thermal, and other forms of energy of dubious value. In the meantime, as Welch points out, the growing energy demand “is expected to increase 30% by 2030.

The Obama administration’s energy advisors, cabinet secretaries, and others, including the President, are all on record as opposing coal-fired electricity generation. Many of the nation’s governors remain opposed to coal-fired plants. And America is home to the greatest deposits of coal to be found anywhere in the world!

Yet another stupid answer is the idiotic notion that we can “conserve” our way to energy independence. The prospect of a ban on the sale of incandescent light bulbs as a means to conserve electricity is as idiotic as it gets. Fluorescent bulbs all contain mercury and will require a Hazmat team to clean up the mess if you break one.

As my friend, Michael J. Economides, an editor of EnergyTribune.com, pointed out in mid-2008, “Energy cannot be generated from nothing”, adding that “The next four decades are good for a dozen recessions if it’s business as usual, or for a constant downturn, if American politicos actually apply what they have been saying.”

The smart answers to America’s energy needs include opening oil drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Reserve, on the nation’s vast continental offshore areas estimated to contain billions of barrels plus vast natural gas reserves. The smart answer is to begin yesterday to upgrade and expand our electrical grid system. The smart answer is to encourage the mining of our nation’s coal reserves. The smart answer is to build more coal-fired and nuclear plants.

Who opposes this? The Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth, and the Environmental Defense Fund, to name just three organizations dedicated to destroying the nation’s economy and its ability to provide energy to its people. Who opposes this? Ask the new Secretaries of Energy, the Interior, and the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency.

The next time one of these people, including the President of the United States of America, claims that global warming requires that we all freeze in the dark, impeachment proceedings should begin immediately.
