Showdown Coming Between the Gun Grabbers and the Gun Owners in America!

Showdown Coming Between the Gungrabbers and the Gun Owners!

***************

Mike Cox, the Attorney General of the state of Michigan has written a piece for the Wall Street Journal which is a MUST READ for all US Citizens who value their right to “Keep” AND “”Bear” arms. (Notice the difference between KEEP and BEAR.)

Understand, also, if you happen to be one of those clamoring for the government to take away citizen’s right to keep and bear arms, that 44 states have the right to keep and bear arms written into their state constitutions. The ruling the Supreme Court makes will not override those states rights! Don’t believe me? Take a look at the ninth and the tenth amendments to the constitution! (We already fought one war over states rights…. let’s not have another!)

Here is just a snippet of the article I’m recommending to you:

“One of the earliest scholars of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, confirmed this focus on individuals in his famous "Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States" in 1833. "The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms," Story wrote, "has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of republics, since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers . . ."

Depending upon how the Court rules on this, we may well have reached a turning point in the history of this country. All freedom Loving Americans should stay abreast of this case as it moves through the Court. For one thing is certain… no matter how the Court rules on this… Americans are NOT going to give up their arms! American citizens reserve the right to defy a court ruling, or a government, in violation of the Constitution of the US.

    And that side LOST!!!!
Also States do not have rights, no level of government has rights, People have enailable rights given to them by God. The government has powers given to it by the people. When the government abuses those powers (Patriot Act, Domestic spying, lying to start a war) It is our duty to overthrow the government.... But since no one did anything they (The theifs in power) can do anything they want. We the people are too fat, lazy, and dumb, wraped up with Britney or Paris to give a hoot.

  2. I have a 1911-A1 .45 Gov’t Model handgun. I am law-abiding and
would use it to protect anyone I love or care about. I keep it
by my side because in today’s uncertain world you can never
    predict unforeseen violence.

If I were born in France, or Germany or some other country I
would NOT have the right to keep and bear arms.

When our four fathers penned the Constitution of America, they
believed as we do today in the people’s rights. Many of these
rights we enjoy today make what being an American is all about.
This is an excerpt from an article about Gun
Facts I was reading earlier today:

Twice as many children are killed playing football in school
than are murdered by guns. That’s right. Despite what media
coverage might seem to indicate, there are more deaths related
to high school football than guns. In a recent three year
period, twice as many football players died from hits to the
head, heat stroke, etc. (45), as compared with students who were
murdered by firearms (22) during that same time period.6

More guns, less crime. In the decade of the 1990s, the number of
guns in this country increased by roughly 40 million—even while
the murder rate decreased by almost 40% percent.7 Accidental gun
deaths in the home decreased by almost 40 percent as well.8

If people continue to allow individuals in our Government to
take away our rights, they will.

Simply put, if we do not stand up for ourselves, who will?
Certainly not “invisible forces.” Let me repeat: If YOU want
to keep this right to bear arms, you MUST speak out to others
how you feel. It is no longer acceptable to keep your voice to a
    whisper.

I’m not saying you have to involve yourself in politics or
    anything like that.
You can simply get involved by forwarding this message to
    like-minded individuals.

    Sincerely,
