Here is a link to an article with information about the vulnerability of the US to an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack from along our southern coastline and points farther south -- including space.  The title of the article is:  “OPEN LETTER ON THE THREAT FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO.”  The article was written by Ambassador Henry F. Cooper. 

This is a vulnerability I have been concerned about, and have written about in the past.

The problem is solvable.  But the Congress must act.  Currently Congress is sitting on its hands while Iran is racing warships to our eastern -- and Gulf (?) coast(s).

We have the wherewithal – NOW -- to set up a missile defense around the southern coast.  But, again, the government must act.   

Please read this important article by Ambassador Cooper and then contact your Congressperson and Senators and insist that they act immediately to eradicate this threat to the national security of our country.
