"This naivety and ignorance on the part of the Left is like Christmas in July for Muslim leaders. The Islamists and Jihadists are laughing in their sleeves at such stupidity, but they will soon laugh aloud if Muslims become the majority in these countries. Ironically, the Jihadists first victims will be the leftists, the socialists and the godless," warned Michael Youssef, founder of Evangelical Anglican Church of the Apostles and Leading the Way ministry. In an article at “The Christian Post” Mr. Youssef is quoted as saying: "Most Westerners do not understand that Islam is not a religion in their true understanding of what the word means," he argued Tuesday. "Islam is a political and social ideology that will never submit to a secular form of government. Islamists will wait until such time as they are able to transform societies into Sharia-dominated ones, giving citizens a Taliban-type government." Mr. Youssef continued: "Islamic and Arabic media outlets are triumphantly, if not blatantly, saying that Islam is a superior religion, therefore it can build a mosque anywhere in the world, and the infidels need to shut up and accept it… "

Youssef has lived in Egypt and Lebanon. According to the article in The Christian Post he warns the public to be wary of the language that Muslim leaders behind the Ground Zero Mosque are using, such as "tolerance" and "freedom of religion," to gain approval. (The entire article can be read HERE.)

In the same article, the Rev. Peg Chemberlin, president of the National Council of Churches is quoted thusly. "This center will reflect not only the best of Islam, but the enduring hope that Christians, Jews and Muslims can together find common ground in addressing the most urgent challenges of our time." (In the spirit of full disclosure allow me to say that one of the reasons -- among many -- that I left my church was their support of the National Council of Churches.)

I agree with Mr. Youssef on this. The left is being used by the Muslims behind the Ground Zero Mosque to get what they want -- and that is nothing more than a celebratory edifice of triumphalism near a spot where Muslims murdered nearly 3,000 Americans -- men, women and children.

American religious leftists are throwing their support to the GZM. It is not at all unexpected. As a part of the “Blame America First” crowd, they never miss a chance to do just that. Their own naiveté does more damage to America than many of America’s more overt enemies. They bring shame of “The Faith of our Fathers” and America’s religious community still striving to live up to, and into, the Judeo-Christian faith upon which this nation was founded.

Even the President of the United States, who has been slowly shedding his façade as a Christian and allowing his Muslim roots to show, had to take a step back from his public support for placing a Mosque so close to that hallowed ground.

Americans know a desecration when they see one and most of us recognize an abomination as well. Placing a mosque anywhere near that spot is BOTH!

The truth is – this is one of those times when our constitutional right to freedom of religion is coming back to bite us. The practice of Islam in America, in my opinion, is such a threat to the survival of this country as a free constitutional republic that it ought not be allowed. But – the constitution, as written, says we must. And it will remain that way until Americans become angry enough to change it.

The attack on America continues from without and from within. She has entered her own dark ages now and whether she will survive is anyone’s guess.

If you want to see what America will look like in another hundred years just drive across our southern border into Mexico. Add only a Taliban-like government and you will have America one hundred years into the future.

Thank God, I won’t be here to see it!

“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country.” – Barack Hussein Obama, spoken at a White House dinner to celebrate the beginning of Ramadan!

Well, of course, he does. Why wouldn’t someone who thinks the sound of the call to evening prayers from a nearby minaret is one of the sweetest sounds in the world? Why wouldn’t someone who spent his formative years, age six to twelve, in Indonesia, the step-son of a Muslim father and the son of a Muslim father who had deserted his wife and child.

But, I hear you say, he spent twenty years in a Christian church in Chicago. Yes, with a preacher who said of 9/11 that “the chickens had come home to roost”; a preacher who embraced Black Liberation theology and maintained close friendships with Nation of Islam leaders in Chicago.

“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.”

What a pompous hypocrite. He’s been president since January 20, 2009 and has yet to have selected a church to attend in Washington, D.C., like every other president before him has done, but he makes sure to celebrate Ramadan.

That’s what you get when you elect a man named Barack Hussein Obama about whom you know nothing other than the fawning, worshipful puke served up by the liberal media all through the campaign and for most of his first year and a half in office. Too late! The majority of voters selected a complete stranger; a man with virtually no available paper trail, including the one item most people can produce on request, a legitimate birth certificate.

Obama is not an American. He is the son of a former British subject, a Kenyan of the same name. He is the step-son of an Indonesian who married his mother and adopted him. When his mother divorced for a second time, he was shipped off to live in Hawaii with his grandparents, an island territory that was not yet a U.S. state.

The only overseas trip he took that we know of was to Pakistan with a college friend from there. Did he travel on an American passport? The State Department records have conveniently disappeared.

He’s one of those people who enjoys all the benefits of American citizenship, but considers himself an internationalist, someone more at home in the bowels of the United Nations than the chamber of the U.S. Senate; a place where he spent very little time because he was so eager to seize the presidency and begin to “transform” America.

This statement regarding the defiling of Ground Zero, favoring a mosque where the same religion that spawned the 9/11 killers would be preached, may finally convince the deniers that Obama is and always has been a Muslim. First interview as president was with Al Arabia. First official act was to sign paperwork to close down Guantanamo. First major overseas speech was given in Cairo. Et Cetera!

He's letting you know he has the reins of power. He doesn't care what you think. And he has the rest of his term to finish destroying the nation. He knows it. Now you do.

America, take a good look at the first truly un-American president to hold that high office. A lot of Americans voted for him. Those that did not are desperately reading the Constitution to find a way to rid us of this enemy of the people.

WASHINGTON (AP) – After skirting the controversy for weeks, President Barack Obama is weighing in forcefully on the mosque near ground zero, saying a nation built on religious freedom must allow it.

“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” Obama told an intently listening crowd gathered at the White House Friday evening to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.”

Is there ANY doubt where the loyalties of Barack Hussein Obama lie?

Many of us have accused him of being a ‘stealth Muslim’ since long before the presidential race of 2008. We didn’t, or, more precisely, I didn’t attack him for being half Black and half White, that is something he had NO control over. I did address the fact that I believe him to not be what he claims to be, a Christian. And for that questioning of Obama’s true religious belief, I have been called a vile racist.

I also happen to be one that believes Obama to be a non-citizen, but that’s another matter.

The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic community center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.

Robert Gibbs, as big a PC, Casper Milquetoast moonbat as I believe him to be, is right in this instance. It is a local matter.

Why then, if he is NOT a Muslim himself, does Barack Hussein Obama feel the need to weigh in on this matter? Is he pandering the Muslims for votes and support? Is he that desperate?

I know his approval among GOP members is non-existent, I know his approval is rapidly falling within his Democratic party. Is Barack Hussein Obama so desperate for some sort of vindication, some kind of support, that he would openly ingratiate himself to Islam?

Anyone that doesn’t believe that Barack Hussein Obama isn’t in the pocket of Islam needs to read this: America’s Rich Muslim Heritage.

Obama is a terribly confused individual where American history and heritage are concerned.

Obama elevated it to a presidential issue Friday without equivocation.

While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed “hallowed ground,” Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.

Apply American values? I have said on this blog before, it’s a good thing that people like Obama were not in power in 1941. We’d ALL be speaking Japanese right about now if they had been.

If Obama’s idea of the application of American values is any indicator, I have to believe that he would support the building of a Japanese temple at Pearl Harbor!
Do you want further proof that Barack Hussein Obama is a fool?

Harkening back to earlier times when the building of synagogues or Catholic churches also met with opposition, Obama said: “Time and again, the American people have demonstrated that we can work through these issues, and stay true to our core values and emerge stronger for it. So it must be and will be today.”

Apparently Obama is under the belief that the Jews and Catholics attacked America. That is the only way I could possibly see him justifying his remark. This isn’t about prejudice, the type exhibited by The Klan, and I am certain that their beliefs and practices are what Obama is using as his rationale.

This is NOT about religious intolerance, it’s about Islam. Islam isn’t a religion, it is a sect. One that has sworn to dominate the world and kill ANY that refuse to accept it and it’s beliefs.

The last time I checked, Judaism and Christianity held NO views like that. Christians and Jews didn’t attack the Pentagon (9-11-2001), The World Trade Center (twice), Khobar Towers, Marine Barracks – Beirut, and a multitude of other attacks the world over.

No Mr. Obama, it’s not about religious intolerance or prejudice, it’s because Islam is the sworn enemy to all that are not Muslims. And let’s face the facts, Islam attacks and kills as many of it’s own as it does others, maybe more.

Islam is NOT a ‘Religion of Peace’, not in ANY way. Islam is a sect of murder and death, and it appears that the President of the United States is one of their biggest supporters.

So, I have to ask the Obama supporters that read here, how do you like him now?

In the August 3rd edition of The Wall Street Journal, in the Greater New York section, the lead article was “9/11 Memorial Pledged as Part of Mosque Plan.”

There already is a 9/11 memorial. It is called Ground Zero and will be incorporated into whatever structure that eventually gets built on the site.

If one continued to read the story, however, you had to jump to page A21 where side-by-side with the mosque story was one titled, “Verdict in JFK Bomb Plot”, subtitled “Jury Finds Two Guilty in Conspiracy Charges for Plan to Ignite Fuel Tanks.”
The two men found guilty were Abdul Kadir and Russell Defreitas. A third defendant, Kareem Ibrahim, was ill and didn’t go to trial with them and a fourth, Abdel Nur, took a plea deal and faces up to 15 years in prison. At no time in the body of the article is there any mention that these men are Muslims though that fact was critical to their plot.

It was noted that “the men tried to get help from al Qaeda operative Adnan Shukrijumah who was recently indicted in federal court in a plot to attack the New York City subway system with suicide bombers.”

How many Muslim plots to kill thousands of New Yorkers does it take before the plotters are identified as Muslims?

The reason why there should be no mosque built where the debris and dust of the Twin Towers showered down on the very spot is obvious to any American. It would be an obscenity.

It is obscene to wish to build a mosque within sight of where 2,700 people lost their lives in an act of Islamic terrorism, an act of war, a jihad.

How this simple fact escapes the notice of Mayor Mike Bloomberg defies understanding, but this same Mayor originally thought the failed Times Square bomb could have been placed by “somebody with a political agenda who doesn't like the health care bill or something. It could be anything.”

No, it could not be “anything”! Of the many plots hatched since 9/11, it is likely that 99.9% have been by Muslims, whether native born or immigrants.This is not about tolerance. In New York, every Friday in several locations through the city where there are mosques that cannot accommodate all who wish to enter for prayers, the overflow fills the surrounding streets between 2 PM and 4 PM. They block traffic in ways no other group of religionists would ever be permitted. It is surreal.

There is something especially abhorrent about Mayor Bloomberg’s dazzling ignorance because as a Jew he seems to have not absorbed the lessons of history and, in particular, the Holocaust that killed six million Jews and five million Christians; nuns and priests, Lutherans, gypsies, and others swept up by the Nazi death machine. Hannah Arendt attended the 1961 trial of Adolf Eichmann, the Nazi charged with rounding up and killing Europe’s Jews. Her book, “Eichmann and the Holocaust”, was published in 1963 and enshrined the phrase, “the banality of evil” in our modern lexicon.

For Arendt, Eichmann was a “new type of criminal, who commits his crimes under circumstances that make it well-nigh impossible for him to know or feel that he is doing wrong.” Not so new because the crimes of Islam against all who are not Islamic (and some who are thanks to the Shiite-Sunni schism) are very old and fill the headlines of today’s newspapers.

The Muslims who flew commercial airliners into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon did not think they were doing wrong. They were doing what the Koran and almost every imam with the breath to preach told them to do; they were killing infidels.

This is why a mosque within steps of Ground Zero is so inherently wrong. It says that the intended victims of Islamic domination are simply too blind to envision their fate, too fearful to confront evil, to ready to get on the next train to Auschwitz.
