The big question right now, for those of us in the South, is: How much longer are we going to be able to restrain those among us who want to take direct action against the illegals? If the government won’t do it’s job... and it won’t, then Southerners have a long history of doing the job themselves.
An explosion of violence draws nearer everyday the government doesn’t secure our border.
Lean on your Congressmen, and Senators, and make them understand that the folks in the south and southwest are fed up and will not stand, much longer, for their shirking their duty toward the security of this nation!

Well, the "Global Warming" crowd has once again climbed aboard their soapbox and begun screaming that the sky is falling. We’re all going to either burn up, or drown, or both!
I cannot believe the gullibility of people who fall for their propaganda.
Look, they base many of their dire predictions upon computer models and meteorologists will tell you that computer models are hard pressed to predict weather as far out as one week, let alone a 100 years! Come on people, use your common sense!
Sometime in the past few days a big story was circulating about a “City Sized” iceberg having calved off the Antarctic ice shelf. I guess that is supposed to validate their claim that the ice sheet, on the Polar Regions, is melting and we’re all going to drown.
Heck, the polar ice IS probably melting! But it will refreeze. It is a cycle. It’s been melting and refreezing since creation. They used to melt every spring. There were no glaciers at that time either. Of course, I’m referring to a time some 65,000,000 years ago. The ocean’s water was considerable higher then, too. The seawater covered the states all the way up into what is now Nebraska and Wyoming.
But, you know, man wasn’t around then to cause that warming! Who did? Huh? There were no SUV’s either. No air conditioners and no hair spray! None of that stuff was a round, yet we had global warming!
And why, pray tell, aren’t the global warming enthusiasts telling us that the temperature on Mars is going up at the same time ours is going up. There are no people on Mars! How is that possible? Could it just be that the sun is warming up. In fact the Sun IS warming UP. As the sun gets hotter, it reflects that heat outwards and the Earth gets hotter, Mars gets hotter and even distant Pluto gets hotter. All this we know for a scientific certainty.
Some 10, 000 years ago, during the last ice age, science tells us an ice sheet covered much of the North American continent. Some estimates have the thickness of the ice at one mile to three miles thick. It reached as far south as, well, my back yard her in North Carolina.
Ask yourselves how accurate the Global warming enthusiats can be, with their models, when we only have temperature records from oh, about, 100 years back. The earth’s weather goes back to at least 4 billion years. Wouldn’t you say they’re a little light on information? Huh?
OK, so why are so many so eager to jump on the Global Warming bandwagon? Well, if you want to pick a man’s pocket, the best way is to convince him that his life is in danger and you have the only means to protect him. Works every time!
Pick your pockets??? Well, next time you get a REALLY compelling warning about Global Warming check to see where the organizations funding comes from.
Finally, on the earth’s temperature rising… during the Middle Ages, there was a time when the earth’s temperature was warmer than it is today! Go figure!
In the meantime, my money is on a new Ice Age!

Last week, while traveling to Chicago on business, I noticed a Marine sergeant traveling with a folded flag, but I did not put two and two together.
After we'd boarded our flight, I turned to the sergeant, who'd been invited to sit in First Class (and was seated across the aisle from me), and inquired if he was heading home.
"No," he responded.
"Heading out?" I asked.
"No. I'm escorting a soldier home."
"Going to pick him up?"
"No. He is with me right now. He was killed in Iraq.I am taking him home to his family."
The realization of what he had been asked to do hit me like a punch to the gut. It was an honor for him. He told me that, although he didn't know the soldier, he had delivered the news of his passing to the soldier's family and felt as if he did know them after so many conversations in so few days.
I turned back to him, extended my hand, and said, "Thank you.
Thank you for doing what you do so my family and I can do what we do."Upon landing in Chicago, the pilot stopped short of the gate and made the following announcement over the intercom:
"Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to note that we have had the honor of having Sergeant Steeley, of the United States Marine Corps, join us on this flight. He is escorting a fallen comrade back home to his family. I ask that your please remain in your seats when we open the forward door so as to allow Sergeant Steeley to deplane and receive his fellow soldier. We will then turn off the seat belt sign."
Without a sound, all went as requested. I noticed the sergeant saluting the casket as it was brought off the plane, and his action made me realize two things: I am proud to be an American, and I will continue to fly on American Airlines because it respects what our soldiers do every day. I sincerely hope American learned its lesson as a result of the first Clinton debacle. Unfortunately, many did not.
If the Clintons DO manage to win, or in some other way regain, the White House… watch for the sale of hand guns, and long guns, to skyrocket, ammunition sales to skyrocket, and Militia Units to spring up all across the nation, just as they did during the first Clinton blot on history known as the Clinton Administration.
Conservatives, and America is far and away Conservative, do not trust those people and we already know our national security will be at risk as well as the security of our families.
The low morals they displayed, for the world to see, in the nineties shocked many Americans. They had read of such things but never expected to live to experience them, especially in a leader of the free world. Their lack of concern for anything other than their legacy, their image, and the satisfaction of their own carnal desire for money, fame, and sexual pleasure, was staggering. And Americans will be asked to forget all that as though it never happened.
I can think of no other husband and wife team quite like them… save for Juan and Evita Peron of Argentina.
Some hard decisions are going to have to be made between now and November of ’08. Conservatives need to be prepared for the fight of our lives. Frankly, I don’t see the leader the Conservatives will need to lead this fight.
Pray God, he provides us with one in time for the battle for America.

Minutemen Return to Southern Border
Members of the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps returned to the US border with Mexico over the weekend. Reports say some are armed with sidearms.

We welcome the news that the Minutemen are, once again, at our Southern border and expect more to join them in the next few days. 
US leaders have no idea of the depth of passion, on the part of Legal US Citizens, over the proposed “Amnesty” the US Senate and the President are attempting to ram down the throats of Americans.
When illegals can march in our streets without the fear of arrest, or retaliation, by law enforcement authorities, the message sent to legal citizens is that the authorities can no longer protect them and their families, nor the country. It shouts to the world: “We have lost control!”
Additionally, the message received is: Americans are on their own. This is the point where privately owned firearms are taken from their gun safes, and gun cabinets, and cleaned, and oiled up, and the sale of ammunition skyrockets. Americans are going to protect themselves, their families, and their property, as is their right under God… and the Constitution.
Watch for the ranks of the Minutemen to swell over the next few days as Southern Americans, especially those from the Border States, fill the vacuum left by lax law enforcement by the government.
The lack of understanding, and the lack of interest, in the US Citizen’s concerns, over the Illegal immigration problem, by the President and the Congress, is jaw dropping. They have no inkling of the firestorm about to be brought down on their heads. The same holds true for the Mainstream Media. Based in the Northeast, the MSM is isolated from the Americans who live in the states so affected by this invasion from the south.
I have continually said, over the past week, that this thing could turn very ugly, very quick. Southern Americans are not given to making threats. They are, however, given to action without a moment’s notice.
Your can feel the tension in the air. If I were a National Guardsman, especially in the Southern states, I’d have my duffel bag packed and be ready to leave on a moment’s notice.
Toward the end of last week, I began to have the uneasy feeling that this thing has been allowed to go too far. The insistence on a form of “amnesty” by the Senate, and the President, coupled with a flat out failure of law enforcement and our immigration officials has led us to the edge of an abyss which could easily end in violence. The illegals waving a foreign flag in the face of a nation, which has bent over backwards to accommodate them, has become the proverbial “straw, which broke the camel’s back”.
Americans are angry now. Not just angry, more like MAD! A powder keg has been lit!
We have a situation here, which is quickly turning into a crisis. It has been coming for a long time. No matter what you may hear in the next few days… this is not a “civil rights” matter. This is a matter of law and law enforcement. We haven’t had much of either in the past few years and it has brought us to this precipice.

Conservative Christian Republicans !
There seems to be some question as to the way Conservative Christian Republicans “stay away from the polls” when unacceptable candidates are on the ballot. At least one of the readers of this blog suggested that action might be un-republican.
The short answer is this: We don’t care!
Let me try and explain the Conservative Christian Republicans view on voting. To get a basic understanding of the Conservative Christian Republican’s view of the world you must understand our priorities. They are in this order: God, Family, and then, Country.
Understand also, we feel it is sinful to vote for a candidate who does not share these priorities.
You begin to see where we are coming from.
Look, we believe that voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil and we won’t do it. We answer ultimately to a much higher power and we recognize that and try our best to act accordingly. We do not always succeed, actually we don’t succeed most of the time, but we are bound to continue trying.The Lessor
If the Republican Party nominates a candidate we see as unqualified, by our standards, we will not go to the polls and support that candidate. The RNC knows this. It is no secret. The GOP has understood where our ultimate allegiance lies since the Conservative Christians began their migration away from the Democratic Party when it adopted so much of the Socialist/Marxist platform. There is something of a compact between Conservative Christian Republicans and the RNC. We will support the Republican Party as long as it toes the line. The minute it steps away from the line… we are gone.
Remember where our allegiance lies. We do. And, we know that, in the end, we have to give an accounting of the time we spend here on this earth. That is far more important to us than voting to ensure the Republican Party wins an election.

The American Defense Force (ADF)
I have a proposal to make: the creation of an Elite Military Force. Call it the ADF (The American Defense Force). (After the IDF… The Israeli Defense Force.)This unit would, as the name implies, be made up of US Army Ranger qualified, and trained males, in all combat positions, including war planning. Service would be mandatory for a minimum of four years and members of this elite force would be subject to recall until the age of 45. All military "support" positions would be filled by non- ADF, Regular Army personnel.Here’s the way it would work: The Commander in Chief would call in the ADF, when needed, and present them with the goal of any military offensive. From that point, neither the President, nor the Congress, would have any input into the means by which the ADF accomplished it’s mission.This would allow for “plausible deniability” by the nation’s weak-kneed leaders and allow the ADF to accomplish it's mission by whatever means it found necessary.There would be no more Viet Nams. No more Gulf War Ones, and no more Iraq wars. The War against Terror would already be over!Ahhh, ‘tis but a dream, I know… but, one with roots in reality.I used to feel comfortable saying that Democrats did not understand military power, or the application of military power. Now, as Republicans are showing the same weakness, I am no longer comfortable with that adage. The baby boomer Republicans have joined the ranks of the crowd, which thinks nothing is worth fighting for. Never mind that some poor dogface soldier gave his life that the entire baby boomer generation could live, and prosper, in freedom. Talk about ingratitude!My ADF scheme is far-fetched, I know, and I describe it here with my tongue fastened firmly in my cheek! But... we are going to have to do something. Americans no longer have the stomach for a fight. Trying to fight a "politically correct war", and have a large portion of our troops assigned to "Nation Building" is getting our combat forces chewed up, resulting in needless deaths of our service men and women.Maybe Congress can work out some sort of deal to lease the Israeli Defense Forces to protect America and fight America’s wars.
