Obama is jumping the gun on amnesty for illegal aliens in the United States. Yeah, I know he is in campaign mode.  But then, when is he not?

Pandering for the Latino vote will lose him votes from the Anglos.  So – keep it up, Mr. President!

By now, we all know that as long as Obama is in the Oval Office and the socialist/democrats are in control of the US Senate, there is no way the flood of illegal aliens north, across the US border, will be slowed, let alone stopped.

We predicted sometime ago that Border States would begin building their own border fences along their respective portions of the US/Mexico border.  Arizona has begun.

From the StarTribune.com comes this report: “Arizona lawmakers want more fence along the border with Mexico — whether the federal government thinks it's necessary or not.


They've got a plan that could get a project started using online donations and prison labor. If they get enough money, all they would have to do is get cooperation from landowners and construction could begin as soon as this year.


Gov. Jan Brewer recently signed a bill that sets the state on a course that begins with launching a website to raise money for the work, said state Sen. Steve Smith, the bill's sponsor.”   (You may read the entire article HERE.)

Governor Jan Brewer signed the Arizona fence bill back on April 28^th and it will take effect on July 30^th.  As soon as the website is up, we hope to be able to direct our readers to it.
The article goes on to say:  “Any type of fence would require approval of landowners, but Smith said he expects that to be forthcoming from the state and private land owners, including ranchers who have complained of break-ins and other trouble associated with smugglers and illegal crossings.”
 
Plans call for inmate labor to build the fence.  At 50 cents an hour, the cost of actually building such a fence would be considerably less than the federal government’s cost.
Does anyone actually believe the federal government when they proclaim the US/ Mexico border more secure than ever?  I don’t.


As to the accusation by Obama that Republicans would like a moat filled with alligators along the border – allow me to say that we folks here in NC would happily contribute as many Tar Heel “gaters” as we can catch and ship to the border -- ear marked, of course, for use in such a moat. 


Back in June of 2010 we noted that Obama was considering an executive order that would grant amnesty to illegal aliens.  At the time, we said:  “This ought to frighten every American to his/her core. Below is an excerpt from a letter sent to the President from a few republican members of the US Senate recently:

“Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation’s 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can’t secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can’t be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.” (SOURCE)

That letter was signed by: Sens. Grassley, Hatch (R-Utah), Vitter (R-La.), Bunning (R-Ky.), Chambliss (R-Ga.), Isakson (R-Ga.), Inhofe (R-Okla.), and Cochran (R-Miss.).

The US used to be described as a “melting pot.” Today, that melting pot has transformed into a “Boiling Pot” heated by the rage of LEGAL American citizens born and raised in this country and by naturalized American citizens who went to the trouble to enter this country – LEGALLY-- out of respect for the laws of their newly adopted country.

Millions of so-called “immigrants” have chosen to break and enter the United States by crossing our clearly marked borders illegally. Those who do so are called “illegal aliens,” “illegal immigrants,” and a number of other terms less printable than these two.

The reason we call them ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS is because they are in this country illegally.

So – they find it “offensive?” Say WHAT? It reminds me of an old joke from the 1940’s and 1950’s with the punch line: “Don’t you call me what I is!” But, of course, that old joke IS offensive today… as is so much of our language and, well, darn near everything that gave us color and spice, and yes, even spirit as Americans. We have gelded ourselves as a robust, boisterous, flamboyant people. We have become lifeless, pale, bland, and dull. Political Correctness did it all.

Now comes more politically correct pabulum from a journalist’s organization. It seems they find the term “Illegal Immigrant” offensive and even unconstitutional!

In an article By Eric Scheiner entitled: “Society Of Professional Journalists Says 'Illegal Immigrant' Is An 'Offensive' Term” CNSNews reports the following:

"The Diversity Committee of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) is undertaking an educational campaign against the term “illegal immigrant” seeking to inform reporters that the term “illegal immigrant” is “offensive” to Latinos.

In the latest issue of SPJ’s magazine ‘Quill’, SPJ’s Diversity Committee member Leo Laurence writes about the campaign referencing the National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ recommendation to use “undocumented immigrant” or “undocumented worker” and to “Avoid using ‘illegal(s)’ as a noun.”

"SPJ’s Diversity Committee met during the 2010 convention in Las Vegas and decided to engage in a yearlong educational campaign designed to inform and sensitize journalists as to the best language to use when writing and reporting on undocumented immigrants," wrote Laurence.

In his article, Laurence also made a constitutional argument against the term 'illegal immigrant', “One of the most basic of our constitutional rights is that everyone (including non-citizens) is innocent of any crime until proven guilty in a court of law," wrote Laurence. "That’s guaranteed under the Fifth, Sixth and 14th Amendments of the Constitution.”

Am I mistaken in my belief that the US Constitution is for “AMERICANS?”I mean -- legal citizens of the United States? I know our government seems bent on extended rights intended for American citizens to terrorists and to Illegal Aliens, but wait a cussed minute! Doesn’t it cheapen those rights? Doesn’t that make a joke of all the efforts our forefathers made to protect and defend those rights?

Look: Attempting to change the way we refer to illegal aliens is not entirely politically correct. It is propagandizing of the highest order.

It seems to me, as a former member of the press, that the job of a reporter, a member of the press, and/or a journalist, is to report the news. They have no business trying to influence the way you and I think about the news. But that appears to be exactly what this campaign is all about.

I find the very fact that illegal aliens are in this country illegally – “OFFENSIVE!” I find the fact that my government will not do its duty – and STOP IT! – OFFENSIVE as all get-out! The moment they set foot on US soil, without the proper, documentation, they have broken US laws and the laws of many of our states.

Here is the bottom line, as I see it: This campaign is all about One-World Governance, a One World Government, or Global Government. A globe with no borders and a single government – likely, the United Nations or some equally pathetic bunch of yahoos we never met -- let alone elected.

To those in the Mainstream Media: This is why your newspapers are failing. This is why your magazines are failing. This is why your broadcast “talk shows” fail. This is why your news networks run second, at best, to Fox News. The American people know YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED, anymore!

Don’t talk to me about “Undocumented Workers.” Don’t talk to me about “Undocumented Immigrants.” They are, in fact, Illegal Aliens, Illegal Immigrants, or even “Undocumented Democrats,” or in most cases, “Undocumented Mexicans.”

Of course, all this effort is intended to assist the democrats in gaining AMNESTY for those millions of Illegal Aliens already in this country sucking the life out of the economy of a number of our states. But HEY, if given citizenship, they’re going to vote democratic! See where all this is going?

Yes, the melting pot is boiling over -- and with good reason. We are suffering the greatest land invasion in history while our government looks the other way and tries, desperately, to distract its citizens from observing the madness, the mischief, the malign intent of a shadow government controlled by a cabal of uber-wealthy miscreants with Napoleonic complexes and a lust to rule the world!

Well, the dems are at it again. You simply have to give them an “A” for effort.

I recall a TV game show where the booth announcer would enthusiastically shout: “Come on DOWN” to those chosen as contestants on the show. The chosen contestants would rush to the stage expecting instant riches to await them there.

It seems to me there is something similar going on at the southern border of the US. I visualize democrats standing along the border gesturing to the would be illegal immigrants on the Mexican side to: “Come on OVER!” And, boy, they are coming – in DROVES. The illegals climb the fence, go under the fence in tunnels, around the fence, and, quite often, through the fence, all the while, expecting great riches awaiting them on the American side including free healthcare, free education, welfare payment checks each month and a guarantee of citizenship -- if their numbers become great enough to swing the elections in the democrats favor -- all of this as a result of breaking the US laws and becoming criminals.

Do not be fooled by all the denials from the democrats. Amnesty for illegal aliens is all about power for the liberal-socialist democrats in the US government. They, rightfully, see the gigantic influx of illegal aliens as a power source that will, if they can pull it off, guarantee victory at the polls, election cycle after election cycle, effective smothering their opposition and, eventually, securing them an uncontested lock on the US government forever.

So, if you liked the way the democrats have ruled under the democrat liberal-socialist control of the Congress and the socialist Obama Regime, then you are going to absolutely LOVE the socialist state the Hispanic vote will allow them to force on the American people. Very soon America will resemble nothing more than a banana republic with a socialist dictator in the mold of Hugo Chavez of Venezuela – or -- the Castro brothers of Cuba.

I hope that is a sobering thought for Americans. Here is another one. We are losing our country and the passage of The Dream Act will be the last nail in the coffin of a constitutional republic in the United States.

I have lost count of the many times the democrats have endeavored to pass bills for amnesty for illegal aliens in the past few years. It seems that every session of Congress they try again and again to ram it through. They change the name, add a few more freebies, and twist arms of reluctant senators and congresspersons and generally increase the pressure on those hapless lawmakers to a near unbearable level. Still, somehow, we have managed to hold them off… until the next time.

Now the Obama Regime is claiming immigration reform is an emergency and the Congress must act to pass The Dream Act during the ongoing lame duck session of Congress which has a little less than 18 days to finish their work before it disbands and heads home until the first of January.

Many of the current supporters of Immigration Reform (another title for Amnesty for illegal aliens) will not return in January having been unceremoniously thrown out of office by voters angry at their efforts to “fundamentally change America” into their version of a socialist utopia.

Amnesty for illegal aliens is not the least of the actions of the defeated democrats to anger Americans who DO understand we are losing our constitutional representative government and being yoked with oppression from a socialist elite who are working maniacally to turn off the lights of that fabled “Shining City on a Hill" and replace the hill, upon which it sat, with a dung heap.

The Dream Act must be stopped in its tracks -- and it must be stopped NOW! It will be nothing short of a disaster for America if it passes.

I simply do not think something this important to the very existence of America should be brought to the floor of the Congress during a lame duck session. As we said above, many of the democrats who will be supporting the bill have already been relieved of their office come the first of January. They have nothing to lose and they certainly do not have to fear a backlash from their constituents back home. Some might even feel a little revenge is in order for their having been dumped by their constituents in the Mid-Term Election back in November.

I repeat: The Dream Act, though artfully camouflaged, is nothing more than amnesty for illegal aliens and should NEVER come up for a vote in the Congress.

We all would do well to write, phone, e-mail, fax, send a telegram, or in some way not included here, contact our Senators and Congresspersons and tell them to vote NO on AMNESTY for ILLEGAL Aliens, otherwise known: “The Dream Act. We need to do it right NOW!

This week Obama made darn sure Hispanics know he is going to bring back the Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill. Sure, it will have a slick sounding name like “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” but it will include amnesty for those 12+ million illegal aliens or “undocumented democrats” as some are now referring to them.

Referring to the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill, while speaking to a group of Hispanics (the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) just this week, Obama is reported to have said: "But let me be clear: I will not walk away from this fight. My commitment is getting this done as soon as we can. We can't keep kicking this challenge down the road."

Of course, Obama blamed the republicans for the delay in amnesty for illegal aliens. In our opinion, the GOP should be proud of that accusation and take credit for it. In the case of amnesty for illegal aliens, the GOP ought not just be the “party of NO, but the party of HELL NO!

Mr. Obama reportedly told the Hispanics gathered at the meeting: "But don't forget who is standing with you, and who is standing against you. Don't ever believe that this election coming up doesn't matter. ... Don't forget who your friends are." You may read the entire story (HERE).

We can assure the President WE LEGAL American citizens will not forget which political party is attempting to shove amnesty for illegal aliens down OUR throats!

Time to get the e-mail humming to your Senators again. Phone calls work well, too. Faxes are also important. Even a telegram to your senator’s office would be helpful

I have asked this before and I will ask it again: Isn’t there something very sad (and very telling) when the people of a country have to “force” their own government to respond to the wishes of their people? Isn’t it telling as to how far we have traveled down the road toward “totalitarian government”? Have we learned anything??? That question will be answered in November.

“Once more, into the breach,” conservatives!!!

Basically, Americans STILL want the border closed and sealed FIRST! It is common sense to stop the leak in the breached dam we call the border. Once the border is closed and sealed then taking care of those aliens here illegally can begin and, I hope, mass deportations can begin.

The really sad aspect of this whole calamity with the flood of illegal aliens is that none of this would be necessary – if -- the federal government would just enforce the immigration laws already on the books. But they are not going to do that and they will make every effort they feel they must to stop any sovereign state from protecting itself, and its fellow Americans, by enforcing the law.

We are all aware of how the federal government has brought the hammer down on the people of the sovereign state of Arizona for just making an attempt to enforce US law. All of America learned exactly how Obama and his fellow socialist-liberals feel about state sovereignty and how quick they are to use the mailed fist of a dictatorial government to smash any resistance to their socialist agenda.

Yes, Americans ARE angry with the illegal alien mess and the numerous attempts by our government to offer them amnesty, which would, in time, offer them citizenship. It is the wrong answer to a question that never should have come up. It wouldn’t have – had the federal government been doing its job.

As I wrote in an article some years back: “Those of you who support open borders do not, I repeat, do not try to beat us about the head and shoulders with the old saw that says America is a nation of immigrants. See, we already know that because our ancestors were immigrants, too. Mine came into the country, legally, in 1789 through what was then Charles Town Harbor and were assigned a place in the 96th precinct of the state of South Carolina. Notice - they came into this country LEGALLY! That is all we expect of any who want to immigrate to America. Do it legally and we will welcome you with open arms. Do it illegally and we want you caught and deported forthwith!”

Americans have to ask themselves an important question -- and that is … what do we do with a government that refuses to uphold/enforce the nation’s laws? Allow me to answer that by asking this: Suppose you had a business and an employee consistently refused to follow the rules of your workplace. What would you do to that employee? See? The answer is simple. The ONLY way we are ever going to get relief from this problem is to clean the house in Washington.

I refer often to my very intelligent and insightful friend, Alan Caruba. Some time back, in an article entitled “A Crisis of Governors” Alan said the following: “What, in fact, Americans are witnessing is a failure of government at both the state and federal level. The nation has managed to elect too many people to public office that are so clearly inept, incompetent, and untrustworthy, it poses a threat to the republic.”

There is no arguing with the rock solid logic of that statement. Alan, as usual, is spot on. I have said this before and I will say it again, loud and clear: America’s most dangerous enemy, at the moment, is its own government! Sad to say -- it was through the ignorance of the American electorate that these pitifully inept politicians were elected to office to begin with.

America is a big country. When we act, we act big. When we make mistakes – oh, we really screw-up – and in a BIG way. As most Americans now know, electing a Democratic Party controlled Congress in 2006 was a BIG mistake and electing Obama in 2008 was an even BIGGER mistake. Now America is paying the awful price for allowing emotions to drive the election of the first black President of the United States.

We’d like to think that maybe a third party working hard over decades could turn it around, but frankly, I have come to believe that is a long way down the road. I sometimes think Americans are so woefully ignorant of how a representative republic is supposed to work that I have serious doubts we are capable of doing that which is necessary to save our country.

The Tea Party Movement shows promise in the fight to educate Americans about how their government is supposed to work. To say the candidates they have backed over the primary season have been surprisingly victorious would be an understatement. I feel compelled to tell you that I suspect that if their strength continues to grow they will, of necessity, become the political party in America that shoves an evermore moderate GOP off center stage and into the wings and eventually into the pages of history as another “has been” political party that could not find the will to represent their constituents the way those constituents demanded. They got away with it for a while. But those days have now ended.

Until we can come up with a solution to the problem of an unresponsive government we are stuck standing on the sidelines observing the huge land invasion from our neighbor to the south with the assistance of the Obama Regime and its fellow socialist-liberals in the Congress of the United States.

According to an article at Fox Nation (HERE.), that is what Arizona Senator Jon Kyle reported to an audience at a town Hall meeting where he spoke. The article goes on to say that Senator Kyl told the audience, at a tea party meeting, that the President, himself, told Kyl, in a face-to-face meeting in the Oval Office the he (Obama) feared the GOP would not support his “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” bill (Otherwise known as the Amnesty for illegal Aliens bill) bill if he secured the borders first.

According to Fox Nation, Kyl reported the President said: “The problem is, if we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform." Then Kyl went on to say: “In other words, they're holding it hostage." The report says there was an audible gasp from those present at the meeting when Kyl reported this bit of news.

Soon after Kyl’s remarks were made public, the White House denied the President had made such a statement. But Kyl’s office is standing by what the Senator said.

Kyl also says the President made it clear to him that the promise of those National Guard troops he promised to send to the southern border was a political tactic on his part, (The President) to help assure the passage of Obama’s comprehensive immigration Reform – AKA Amnesty for Illegal Aliens.

None of this should surprise anyone. This type of thuggery, and political blackmail, has become a hallmark of the Obama Regime. As we pointed out some months ago, the Obama regime is set-up to operate as a “political mafia” organizations taking their cues from the gang bosses of the early crime families in Chicago.

Well, the republicans had their Nixon, and now the democrats have their Obama and, as far as I can tell, there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the two presidential administrations.

If you recalled we warned you early on that the democrats would not be able to contain themselves and the lust for power. We warned often to expect the democrats to “overreach.” They do it every time they game the upper hand in the nation’s legislature and/or the White House. All one has to do is just observe the democratic leadership in the US House of Representatives, and in the US Senate and, of course, in the White House.

The Mainstream Media is playing right along as the
lead propagandists of the Obama Regime in an attempt to keep the US citizens distracted with all the many and varied crises sucking up all the ink from their publications and all the air time from their broadcasts.

And… to make matters even worse for those of us who oppose Amnesty, there has been a huge disconnect between the citizens of America and their representatives in the US House of Representatives and the US Senate. I must tell you, however, I now have doubts about that “disconnect.” I have come to believe that more than a “disconnect” it is a “deliberate distancing” of our national legislators from their constituents -- especially for those that follow in Obama’s footsteps and subscribe to his socialist dogma.

Well, We have said all along the problem with illegal immigration across our southern border could be fixed, almost immediately, if the government wanted it fixed. Now we know for certain that they do not want the southern border sealed. See, those are democratic voters coming across that invisible line headed north into the land of milk and honey and -- along side them on their northward trek -- is cheap labor!

As you can see with this latest revelation by Arizona’s Senator Kyl, the American people are at an impasse with their government.

So, what so we Americans do with a government that refuses to enforce America’s laws? The answer? Throw them out of office this November.

The Founders of America intended this country to be administered by a government that governed with “the consent of the people.” Clearly that is less and less the case as each recent election has shown.

It is time for Americans to reclaim their right to a government that responds to the wishes of the people by tossing out those who refuse. Their replacements would be well advised not to unpack their luggage to quickly upon their arrival in Washington, DC.

I WISH I had said it, but I did not. I mean the catchy phrase in the title of this piece. I heard a comedian use it recently and I thought then that it captures the condition America finds itself in today will illegal aliens from Mexico flooding into our country from across an unsecured, wide-open border between Mexico and the US.

Honestly, I don’t think the US government actually knows how many illegals we have living in the US. They keep tossing out the number of 12 million, or so. Well, that was the number used many years ago. Common sense dictates that there is many more than 12 million illegal aliens in the US today – if -- that number was correct when it was first used years ago.

Now The Obama Regime wants Congress to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. Yep! It’s the same song, third verse. When one translates the title of the bill into non-politically correct English one finds that it means AMNESTY!

Look, all Obama’s Comprehensive Immigration Reform will do is guarantee even more illegal aliens will come running across that border headed north into America. Why? Because they will have deduced that all they have to do is be INSIDE America when the NEXT AMNESTY is declared. And they are right!

America does not need a Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. American simply needs to enforce its own immigration laws! As the state of Arizona is proving, enforcement of the law will lead to voluntary immigration southward -- back into Mexico and beyond.

The plain truth is – America’s borders will be secured the minute the US Government wants them secured and not before. That’s the problem. The government does not want the borders secured. In fact, just the opposite is true.

We have a government of Globalists, I am afraid. They are the folks who don’t believe in borders – at all. They are hard at work pushing world wide-open borders. See, they NEED open borders, or no borders at all, in order to realize their ultimate goal of global governance.

The end game is worldwide socialism. Marxists-Leninists have been preaching for years that America can be brought to heel and capitalism smothered to death through immigration. The idea is to flood capitalist/industrialized nations, such as the US, with low skilled, under educated, poverty strickened masses of immigrants, and use them as a tool to create civil unrest and eventually bring down capitalism and crush the constitutional republic of the US and replace it with socialism/communism.

Somehow, the Democratic Party in the US forged far ahead of the Globalists by installing a socialist government in America’s national legislature and in the office of the President.

Well, Americans have had a taste of socialism, thanks to the democrats, and, for the most part, they are sick of the incremental imposition of socialist slavery and want to be done with it by purging the Congress of as many Socialist/Globalists, Marxists, Maoists, Progressives, and as many pitiful guilt-ridden liberals as we possibly can in November.

Oh, and while we are at it, we need to search out those laboring, sub-rosa, for a North American Union and get rid of them as well.

With the Obama Regime set to ram their Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Bill through Congress and into law, we thought it would be a good idea to revisit our position on “Amnesty” as we begin a new week. Nothing has changed our mind since this was first written. The border between Mexico and the USA must be sealed, secured, and the US Military given the job of patrolling it and enforcing the law on the border, Amnesty for Illegal Aliens must be stopped in Congress and we need to round up the illegal aliens in the US today and begin mass deportations.

Like you, I have heard all the arguments from the government that they cannot find all those 12 million, or so, illegal aliens who have integrated into our society in order to deport them. I don’t buy it, not for one second. If the government was serious about finding them all they’d have to do is enlist the help of American citizens and you would have convoys of vehicles, filled to capacity with illegal aliens, headed south to the border to be deported. Maybe the government doesn’t know where they are, but you can bet your bottom dollar American citizens know where they are - or can find them - post haste.

Yes, Americans ARE angry with the illegal alien mess and the numerous attempts by our government to offer them amnesty, which would, in time, offer them citizenship. But Americans are not mad at the illegal aliens. No! They/we are mad at our government for allowing this to happen in the first place!

Those of you who support open borders do not, I repeat, do not try to beat us about the head and shoulders with the old saw that says America is a nation of immigrants. See, we already know that because our ancestors were immigrants, too. Mine came into the country, legally, in 1789 through what was then Charles Town Harbor and were assigned a place in the 96th precinct of the state of South Carolina. Notice - they came into this country LEGALLY! That is all we expect of any who want to immigrate to America. Do it legally and we will welcome you with open arms. Do it illegally and we want you caught and deported forthwith!

It is becoming ever more clear, everyday, that America’s biggest problem with illegal immigration is not with those who illegally break into our country and help to bleed it dry, but with our government which refuses to uphold the laws already on the books. Had those laws been enforced we would not be in the situation we find ourselves today. Plus, the problem of what to do with these 12-plus million illegal aliens would not be a problem, at all, if the government would simply follow the laws on the books today.

The bottom line for Americans to ponder is… what do we do with a government that refuses to uphold/enforce the nation’s laws? Well, let me ask you - suppose you had a business and an employee consistently refused to follow the rules of the workplace. What would you do to that employee? See? The answer is simple. The ONLY way we are ever going to get relief from this problem is to clean the house in Washington.

My friend and fellow blogger, Alan Caruba, recently said in his piece entitled “A Crisis of Governors”: “What, in fact, Americans are witnessing is a failure of government at both the state and federal level. The nation has managed to elect too many people to public office that are so clearly inept, incompetent, and untrustworthy, it poses a threat to the republic.” Alan, as usual, is spot on. America’s most dangerous enemy, at the moment, is its own government! I would add that, in my opinion, America’s second worst enemy, at the moment, is its own ignorance. It was through the ignorance of the American electorate that these pitifully inept politicians were elected to office in the first place.

Maybe a third party, working hard over decades, could turn it around, but frankly, I doubt it. Americans are so woefully ignorant of how a representative republic is supposed to work that I have serious doubts we are capable of doing that which is necessary to save our country. Then there is the opposition from the politicians themselves. If we know anything, we know the two parties in power today watch each other’s backs when it comes to Americans forming a powerful third party. They make sure it is almost impossible for that to happen.

The Tea Party Movement in America is performing a great service for America. It has finally gotten the attention of the legislators in Congress even though the mainstream media continues to try to downplay their importance in bridging the gap between the people of America and their government. I am convinced the Tea Party will help America retake her government from the socialists in November.

Until we can solve the problem of un-responsive government, in the Mid-Term Election this coming November, we are stuck with socialists running the US government while we watch the largest land invasion and take-over of a country in the history of the world.

World Net Daily reports: “Bureaucrats already drawing up plan to implement. $1 billion, 30-week processing program revealed in leaked 14-page Homeland Security memo”

World Net Daily claims to have obtained a copy of the plan, which, they say, was drafted by the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services, a division of the Department of Homeland Security Department. WND reports the memo as saying: “The undated draft report anticipates the possibility of the legislation requiring public benefits to amnesty applicants.”

WND then claims a direct quote of a particular direction from the memo: "If the statute requires interim benefits while application pending, issue discrete variant of status document (shorter term duration that [sic] if issued after prospective immigrant status granted),"

This memo simply underscores our belief that the Obama Regime intends to ram this piece of legislation, “Amnesty for Illegal Aliens” (Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill) down the throats of the American people -- whether we want it or not! (Read the entire article HERE.)

The reported leaked memo also suggests there should be negotiations with an outside contractor – now. This suggestion is being made even before passage of the legislation. This suggests one thing. It suggests the Obama Regime has NO DOUBT they will be able to shove this Amnesty for illegal Aliens through the Congress.At the risk of seeming redundant we have warned over and over again this was/is coming. Yes, Americans have been able to stop the bill, in it’s tracks, twice in the recent past. But that was before America had a socialist government and a man who sees himself as some sort of benign dictator in the Oval Office of the President of the US. Obama has brought that “fundamental change” he vowed to make in America while he was on the campaign trail.

It is plain to every one, including the democrat/socialists that the American electorate has awakened and now understands it made a colossal mistake in 2006 and 2008 and is determined to correct that mistake this coming November by tossing out of office as many democrat/socialists as is possible. As we said, even the democrat/socialists know this. That is why the big push is on to get those illegal aliens made legal citizens with the ability to vote as quickly as possible.

The democrat/socialist are making a “Hail Mary” pass in an attempt to save their grasp on the US government. They know they must get it passed as quickly as possible to save the 2012 election. Unless something totally unexpected happens to favor the democrat/socialists this November’s Mid-Term Election is set to be a massacre of democrat/socialist incumbents and even first time candidates.

The GOP should be extremely wary. The Dems are going to put a strong arm on them in hopes of getting some republican support for the bill. Its called “political cover.” The GOP should understand that if a single republican supports the Amnesty Bill, the GOP could see their support in November evaporate. Voters, who already feel there is little difference between the two parties, may just stay home… again!

Understand this: The support for the GOP candidates, at the moment, does not indicate there is a love affair with the Republican Party. No. What it DOES indicate is the disdain in which the American electorate holds the democrat/socialist party! The electorate is simply using the GOP as a means toward an end -- and that end is to purge the Congress of as many democrat/socialists as possible. All incumbents are skating on extremely thin ice, democrats, and republicans alike.

Two predictions are begging to be made: One - The Amnesty Bill, like ObamaCare, will be foisted on the American people, against their wishes, by the Obama Regime and Obama’s courtesans in Congress. Two – It will be a long time before a Democrat takes the Presidential oath of office again.

Obama’s insufferable arrogance has set back the cause of his political party and done incalculable damage to the political aspirations of any black candidate for president for the foreseeable future.
America has just had a taste of the truth in the expression: “Power corrupts; Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

The President of Mexico coming to MY COUNTRY and criticizing US citizens for TRYING to stop the tidal wave of HIS citizens breaking into our country illegally absolutely infuriates me. It is an insult to every American.

Mr. Calderon should never have been extended the courtesy of addressing a joint session of Congress after his remarks concerning the Arizona immigration law.

If you are frustrated by the actions, or inactions, of the federal government over illegal immigration and the manner in which they are treating the new immigration law in Arizona – AND -- the cavalier way they bitch and moan about Arizona’s attempt to get a handle on the ever growing problem -- without even extending to the people of Arizona the courtesy of first READING the law, then dear reader, you are experiencing a tiny iota of the frustration my Confederate ancestors felt toward the federal government of their day as the President and the Congress simply ignored their grievances in the early 1800’s. Yes, indeed, history DOES repeat itself.

All of this -- the entire mess with illegal immigration, with Arizona’s new immigration law, “the whole cussed thing” could be put to rest IF the federal government would just DO ITS JOB and secure the border between Mexico and the US. It is as simple as that!

Now, do not try to tell me it is far more complicated -- because it is not! To say that it is -- is pure unmitigated BS!

If the US government WANTED to seal and secure the Mexican/US border they could do it in a matter of hours and it would stop – IMMEDIATELY -- the northward flow of illegal aliens into our country.

I am in a state, which is running a close second to Arizona’s population of illegal aliens from Mexico. I will be lobbying my state legislature to pass a state law in North Carolina similar to the new immigration law in Arizona.

I have warned for years now, in my scribbling, that this was coming. (My voice on this was/is just one among a HOST of others issuing the same warning!) I warned that if the federal government continued to refuse to uphold federal law and seal and secure the borders then the states would take it upon themselves to do it, and that, dear reader is what is happening today.

If the federal government does not send US troops to the border to secure it, there will soon be armed citizens patrolling the border and it will get “REAL nasty” from that point on.

In the meantime, Mr. Calderon should hike his skirts and get the hell out of my country and take the over 12 million illegal aliens back home with him!

I call upon the federal government to seal and secure the border between Mexico and the US, immediately, by placing US troops on the border to stop those stealing across, illegally, into the United States.

I further call upon the federal government to issue a proclamation allowing illegal aliens 48 hours to surrender themselves, for deportation, at the nearest federal government facility. Those not surrendering themselves should be forcibly rounded up, men, women, and children, and deported, ASAP, to their country of origin. After six months, any illegal aliens found within the US should be arrested and placed in internment camps for an indefinite length of time during which they would render public service such as cleaning roadsides of debris, etc.

Tough? You are darned right it is tough. If we want to secure our country then we have to secure the borders and make darned sure we get rid of all those within in our borders illegally -- and we need to do it NOW. It is LONG, LONG, past due.

One last thing:

We need a candidate for President who runs on a platform of sealing and securing the borders of the US, both north and south, and rounding up and deporting illegal aliens now residing within the US. If the Tea Party wants to support a candidate for President, then may we suggest they look for a candidate espousing just such a platform. That candidate will route all others.

A warning to candidates running for office in November: If you want to be seriously considered as a candidate for Congress, or for the Senate, then you had better run on a platform of taking America back, not just from the socialist, the progressives, the marxists and the liberals -- but from the well over 12 million illegal aliens as well!

We MUST take our country back -- and we must do it NOW!

Arizona has plainly re-asserted itself as a sovereign state. They have just reminded the US Government, and everyone else, that the US is made up of 50 sovereign republics with their own internal governments.

As the Obama Regime readies itself to ram the New Amnesty Bill down America’s throats, as they did the ObamaCare Bill, Arizona’s actions are an apt reminder that secession is hovering over the border states and you can bet it is being whispered about in the halls of various state legislatures all across America today.

Look, Obama is either an idiot, or a fool, if he believes the states are going to take what he is dishing out without a fight. If he continues on his current course of belittling the legal citizens of that state there is going to be a huge backlash, not only in Arizona but also across the southern states, which are practically overrun with illegal aliens. In other words, “it ain’t gonna be purrty.”
Look for the state of Texas to balk at this New Amnesty bill, as well. Do not be surprised if Texas revives talk of secession. As a matter of fact, it may have already begun. Texas State Rep. Leo Berman, R-Tyler, will soon introduce immigration legislation comparable to a law recently enacted in Arizona, according to Berman’s aide. According to the report, Berman is planning to introduce the bill in the 82nd Legislative Session, which begins in January 2011. You may read the entire article HERE.

We warned, many months ago, that the Obama Regime and his socialist cohort in the West Wing and the Congress would make another attempt at passing an Amnesty Bill. Well, here it comes.

This time they call it “The Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act.” Just sort of rolls off your tongue doesn’t it?

Those of us who grew up fighting the socialist menace have heard these monstrous names for unsavory programs before – in the USSR. It is an old trick. Give it a name so long and so complicated that the reader or hearer’s eyes glaze over and they lose interest right away. The new name for this New Amnesty Bill was meant to do just that.

In the past few days it is beginning to appear that the legal challenges to Arizona’s tough new anti-illegal immigration laws may, very well, stand up to the scrutiny of the courts. So Obama is trying a new tactic: guilt and embarrassment.

Just the other day, while in Iowa, Obama said: “You can imagine if you are a Hispanic American in Arizona, your great grandparents may have been there before Arizona was even a state." He went on to say: "Now suddenly if you don't have your papers and you take your kid out for ice cream and you're going to be harassed, that's not the right way to go."

US Attorney General Eric Holder has said the Justice Department may pursue legal action. "I'm very concerned about the wedge that [the new law] could drive between communities that law enforcement is supposed to serve and those of us in law enforcement."

Mr. Holder may want to rethink taking court action against Arizona. He will open a Pandora’s box of trouble for both the democrats and the republicans. I don’t think either party wants a public fight over “states' rights” at this point in the Obama Regime’s tenure in the White House, because believe me, the fight will most certainly become a fight over the sovereignty of the states currently forming the so-called UNITED States.

I am STILL struck by the democrats drive to reward criminals for breaking US laws with a gift of citizenship in the very country they entered illegally. It doesn’t even make good sense. You do not REWARD criminals for breaking the law! But THAT is exactly what Obama and his socialist coterie is hell-bent on doing. It is a key component of their master plan to destroy the constitutional republic of the United States and replace it with the oft-referred-to “socialist dung heap.”

There will be a reckoning. Do not think that ALL 50 states will go along with Obama’s socialist plans. It simply isn’t going to happen. The states have just begun to push back. From this point onward, there will be hell to pay if, and when, federal authorities begin throwing their weight around within sovereign states not embracing Obama’s socialism.

The states along the US/Mexican/ Border are a powder keg with a lit fuse. They could explode at any time. Obama’s blowing on the fuse only makes it burn brighter and faster and may result in an explosion much sooner than expected.

We have warned numerous times that if the federal government continued to refuse to enforce the laws concerning illegal immigration and continued to refuse to close, seal, and secure the US/Mexican border, then the citizens of the states, especially the border states, would do it for them.

It has begun. The genie is out of the bottle, as it were, and the current US Socialist Government is going to have a fight on its hands it obviously did not expect.

The fact that they did not expect Arizona’s actions speaks volumes about the lack of sensitivity of the Obama Regime to the wants and wishes, the likes and dislikes, of the American people. It also tells us that, in their arrogance, they really don’t care.

PHOENIX (AP) – Arizona’s governor vows the state’s tough new law targeting illegal immigration will be implemented with no tolerance for racial profiling, but at least two advocacy groups were preparing legal challenges and Mexico has warned that the law could affect cross-border relations.

Republican Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday signed into law a bill that supporters said would take handcuffs off police in dealing with illegal immigration in Arizona, the nation’s busiest gateway for human and drug smuggling from Mexico and home to an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants.The law requires police to question people about their immigration status – including asking for identification – if they suspect someone is in the country illegally. It’s sparked fears among legal immigrants and U.S. citizens that they’ll be hassled by police just because they look Hispanic.
With hundreds of protesters outside the state Capitol shouting that the bill would lead to civil rights abuses, Brewer said critics were “overreacting” and that she wouldn’t tolerate racial profiling.

“We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act,” Brewer said after signing the law. “But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation.”

Gov. Jan Brewer went to the top of my GREAT LEADERS LIST when she signed this law into being! I salute her for having the intestinal fortitude to get this done. The hue and cry of those that support ILLEGALS, or ARE ILLEGALS be damned, this is a GREAT law and one that needs to be taken up by ALL states, but border states in particular!

I wish our elected officials here in Texas had that same level of fortitude. Are you listening and paying attention Gov. Perry? And you too Rep. Joe Driver, are you listening? Are you hearing the words of your constituents?

We have been patient here in Texas too, but my friends, here is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth; Washington D.C. isn’t going to do one damned thing to stop the invasion. They are not going to do one damned thing to reverse the effects of the invasion and they are not going to do one damned thing about rounding up and deporting these invaders!

Since 1954 (SOURCE) the federal government hasn’t acted, in a positive way, to correct the invasion that is rapidly dragging this nation into being looked at as an ever expanding 3rd world nation. It’s not politically correct to defend our borders and expel those that violate the borders and break our laws, it’s considered a violation of the lawbreakers CIVIL RIGHTS!

Earlier Friday, President Barack Obama called the Arizona bill “misguided” and instructed the Justice Department to examine it to see if it’s legal. He also said the federal government must enact immigration reform at the national level – or leave the door open to “irresponsibility by others.”

“That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe,” Obama said.

If anyone even remotely imagines that Barack Hussein Obama is going to do anything to rectify this ILLEGAL INVASION, other than granting the invaders amnesty and full citizenship, I have some oceanfront property near Amarillo that you may be interested in!

Current law in Arizona and most states doesn’t require police to ask about the immigration status of those they encounter, and many police departments prohibit officers from inquiring out of fear immigrants won’t cooperate in other investigations.

Again we see the left-leaning PCness of the Associated Press, they still refer to these people as *immigrants*. They are afraid to attach the word ILLEGAL!

An immigrant is a welcome addition to this nation, we are an nation of immigrants, but here’s the part that totally confuses most politicians, and I include politicos from ALL sides in this, they don’t want to DO anything to offend, they don’t want to hurt any feelings and God forbid that we defend this nation from those that are here ILLEGALLY! Let’s just call them immigrants, why stigmatize them with the term ILLEGAL? And what the hell, they don’t want to anger a future voting block!

The new law makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. Immigrants unable to produce documents showing they are allowed to be in the U.S. could be arrested, jailed for up to six months and fined $2,500.

Not to take anything away from Arizona, and certainly not denigrating them for passing this law, BUT, there are already laws on the books regarding being in this nation illegally. The thing is, if the states don’t enforce these laws, they will never be enforced, not on a federal level, not as long as we have politicians that are far left libbers and RINOs that are afraid to stand and defend America 1st!

There is an easy solution. ALL ILLEGALS leave the USA, now! Not later, leave NOW and by God come back in LEGALLY! Come back and become a LEGAL immigrant and seek to become an America citizen. A LEGAL American citizen. An English speaking American citizen that loves this nation and swears allegiance to no other!

Granting blanket amnesty and turning a blind eye is NOT the solution!

“It’s going to change our lives,” said Emilio Almodovar, a 13-year-old American citizen from Phoenix. “We can’t walk to school any more. We can’t be in the streets anymore without the pigs thinking we’re illegal immigrants.”

I’ll tell you what’s going to change your life Emilio, getting in the face of a police officer that is doing his job, using that tone and attitude, THAT is going to change you life. If you are LEGAL, if you’re not carrying a gun illegally, if you’re not carrying dope, if you’re not out doing burglary and robbery, if you’re not out walking the streets drunk or beating your wife or whatever, you don’t have anything to worry about.

It seems that many feel this is going to be used to persecute LEGAL immigrants and citizens of Hispanic heritage. It’s NOT! But you will never convince the libbers and RINOs of that.

Francisco Loureiro, a pro-migrant activist who runs a migrant shelter in Nogales, Mexico, called the new law “racist” and said it would lead to more police abuse of migrants.

“Police in Arizona already treat migrants worse than animals,” he said. “There is already a hunt for migrants and now it will be open season under the cover of a law.”

Migrants? As in migrant workers? Undocumented workers? Uh — ILLEGALS? Is that what you’re moaning about Francisco?

It’s people like Francisco that are the problem, at least as much as the ILLEGALS themselves. He gives them food, shelter and comfort. I know for a fact, many of the migrant activists provide maps showing safe houses, routes that can be traversed in at least some safety, locations where food and water can be obtained from friendly migrant activists along the way.

Instead of being a migrant activist, Francisco needs to be an advocate of American citizenship and LEGAL immigration. If he were, I personally would have NO problem with his activities. As it stands right now, he is giving aid and comfort to the enemies of this nation, that equates to an act of treason if you are in a state of war.

If you don’t think we’re in a state of war along border, come on down and pay us a visit. Go to places like Laredo, Del Rio, Fort Hancock, El Paso, any number of Texas towns along the border.
I can take you to areas right here in Dallas County that will scare the stuffing out of you when you see the gang activity, the dope and guns, the prostitution and the swarm of ILLEGALS that scatter like a herd of roaches when the police drive up!

Ask the friends and family of Robert Krentz if there’s a war along the border in Arizona!

Yes, it IS a crime to break into the US by stealing across the border! Yet, millions have done it and continue to do it even as this scribe taps out these few words on the keyboard.

Those wonderful Democrats, now scared witless they are going to be mauled politically at the polls this coming November, have to move as quickly as possible to get those millions of illegal aliens citizenship and, even more important, get them registered to vote so they can vote for the dems who secured their citizenship -- while overlooking the fact that they are criminals. Remember, Latino voters were crucial to President Obama’s win in 2008.

Does any of this strike you as a little bit weird? It ought to – because it IS weird! But, then, that is the America we live in today -- an America led by its first Marxist President and it’s first Socialist/Marxist/Progressive Congress.

The Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, told a throng in Las Vegas over the weekend: “We’re going to come back, we’re going to have comprehensive immigration reform now.” Reid continued: “We need to do it this year.” He was emphatic when he said: “We cannot wait.”

Reid promised that Congress would begin working on an immigration overhaul when they return to Washington this week from their recess.

Judging from Mr. Reid’s assured demeanor we expect he, and his cohort in the House of Representatives, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, will make every attempt to ram this bill down the throats of Americans just as they did the ObamaCare bill. Heck, Reid admitted it! Speaking to the pro-immigration reform crowd Reid stated -- flat-out: “We’re going to pass immigration reform, just as we passed health care reform.”

It is time, fellow conservatives, to get the phone calls, the faxes, the e-mails, flowing again and make those personal visits to the offices of your Congressperson and your Senators and tell them, to their faces, you expect them to vote NO on immigration reform. We HAVE to stop this bill just as we stopped it twice in the recent past.

While you are writing or speaking to your Congressperson or Senator, please tell them that if they are serious about doing something constructive about illegal immigration they should begin by sealing the border between Mexico and the United States. Just as in a leaky rowboat, bailing does little good until you plug the leak!

Remind the politicians there is BIG trouble brewing on our southern border. When local law enforcement admits, openly, they cannot protect those in their charge from violence perpetrated by illegal immigrants stealing across the border and advises legal citizens to arm themselves for protection, it is only a matter of time before all hell breaks loose.

To say the southern border of the US is porous is an understatement. The nation is at risk from terrorists, organized crime cartels, and "transnational gangs" while the federal government shirks its responsibility to secure the border.

“Recently, Gov. Rick Perry, of Texas, sent a letter to U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano requesting that the federal government utilize Unmanned Aircraft Systems, also known as predator drones, for missions over the Texas-Mexico border. This would provide an additional surveillance element, supplying valuable information to local, state, and federal law enforcement along the border. “In the absence of adequate federal resources to secure the state’s southern border, Gov. Perry launched the state’s recent border security enhancement using highly skilled Ranger Reconnaissance (Ranger Recon) Teams to address the ever-evolving threat along the Texas-Mexico border. Additionally, under the governor’s leadership, and thanks to action taken by the Legislature, the state has dedicated more than $110 million to border security efforts in each of the last two legislative sessions.” (SOURCE)

The problems with our non-secure southern border are past being serious. They are now critical.

So, Mr. President, Congresspersons, and Senators don’t try to pass another Amnesty for Illegal Aliens bill before you seal and secure the borders of the US. Once that is done to the satisfaction of the American electorate, then -- and ONLY then -- will we be the least bit interested in discussing immigration reform.

They tell us there are 12 million illegals living in the United States of America. 12 million! (I don’t believe, for a second, there are ONLY 12 million illegal aliens in America!) But, for the sake of this commentary, let us accept, for the moment, that figure is true. That means the southern border of the US has been violated, crossed illegally, 12 million times, that we know of, and it MUST STOP!
I suppose the thing that galls me so much about it is the fact that those illegals will play the race card in a heartbeat - and they claim to be so “put upon” when we confront them and declare their crossing the border without the proper paperwork a crime, which it most certainly is!

Thinking back to the demonstrations months ago, I remember I could only stare, wide-eyed, as my jaw dropped! There were no federal authorities there to round those people up and check their citizenship! None. There they were, in broad daylight, marching and protesting that we, legal US citizens, are angry that THEY broke into OUR country! It bothers me greatly that he US government extends the rights granted to US citizens by the US Constitution to non-citizens. They ARE NOT CITIZENS and they ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!

The illegal aliens in the US today act as if we OWE them! We OWE them nothing! Nothing! They are upset that we conservatives want to treat them like criminals. They ARE criminals!

My regional newspaper has said that we simply cannot keep people out who wanted to better themselves. Oh, contraire! Yes, we can… and we must! At least until they make use of the proper channels and enter the US legally!

I am tired, no, I’m past tired of seeing my tax dollars go to care for people who just broke into the country.

It’s time to warn Mexico that if they continue encouraging their poor to illegally cross the border, into the US, we will invade… again… and just annex their whole country and be done with it! Maybe the oil they have would offset the cost of supporting them. Well, I mean, they want to be Americanos, so darned much, why don’t we make the whole country of Mexico the 51st state and be done with it!

Until the US can get it’s immigration under control, we need to stop ALL immigration, legal as well as illegal. Take down Lady Liberty, dismantle her, and ship her back to France! OK, so that’s a bit much, but I think you get the passion I bring to the subject at hand!

This immigration boil has needed lancing for a long time now. It’s going to hurt for a little while and then it will feel SO MUCH BETTER!

You folks in the northern tier of states may not feel the invasion as we do. Down here, in the southern tier, we are being overrun. And we are fed up! When the South gets fed up, it tends to make life miserable for those in charge until something gets done!

We want the southern border closed and sealed. We want the illegals already in the US found and put in prison. No more trucking them back across the border so they can come right back as soon as the moon rises. No, we want them put away - in prisons - for a long, long, time.

While we’re at it, we ought to serve notice on Mexico that any more incursions by their military across that border will be considered and “act of war” and the US military will act accordingly.

This is not over. The Southern States, especially the Border States, have had it. It IS going to stop. One way or the other. If the current crop of politicians in DC can’t do it, then we desperately need to throw them out and elect people who can and who will actually TRY!

The US is split right down the middle, these days, with the citizens in one of two camps. If you are an American today, you are either a capitalist or a socialists.

We Conservatives are, for all practical purposes, without a political party these days. So, we are fighting the socialist agenda of the Democratic Party on our own. We have no choice. (Thank God for the Tea Party Movement!)

As a conservative, I am convinced that as soon as the Obama Regime gets the Socialized Medicine issue behind them… and declares victory for the President… they are going to turn their attention to illegal immigration. They are not going to try to solve the issue; they are going to make another attempt to ram an AMNESTY for ILLEGAL ALIENS through Congress. They want and they need the votes of those people in the US illegally and they are going to make an all-out push to secure them.

It is time for conservative Americans to step up, once again, and meet them head-on and stop their sweeping attempt to turn the United States into just another mediocre socialist country.

Rogue tigers, having tasted human blood for the first time, often become “man-eaters.” Man is an easy prey for the ruthless tiger. Now that the democrats in Washington have tasted the political blood of their constituents they have become emboldened to hunt again. This time they intend to use their successful back room, closed door, tactics to ram through the New Amnesty Bill referred to as the Comprehensive Immigration Bill. (Dictators, the world over, are just SO proud of the Democrats!)

The comparison between the Bolsheviks in 20th century Russia and the Socialist Congress of the US today is striking. Their driving force is their lust for raw power coupled with their completely insane ideology of a utopian society in which everything is free! That is all wonderful – until the money runs out and the nation collapses in on itself, as America is about to do -- if she is not rescued and rescued very soon.

Flush from their pyrric victory with ObamaCare they now intend to ram the New Amnesty Bill down our throats before we have a chance to recover and rally our forces to stop them. They don’t care because it matters not to them that we don’t want it. All that matters is that they declare those illegal aliens, already within our borders as citizens, as quickly as they can, so they can vote for democrats. I am surprised they are not already registering them to vote as they take their first steps across the wire and into the US.

I know I’m going to get slammed for this but the plain truth is this: We need a literacy test, a competency test, and proof of citizenship – AT THE VERY LEAST-- before one is able to vote in America. Can the would-be voter read? Can the would-be voter even speak English? Is the would-be voter mentally competent? Does he/she even know what day of the week it is?

The democrats are counting on the sub-class of US citizens who are permanent wards of the government to save their collective behinds this coming November at the polls. They are the Americans who depend on the government for their very existence. They vote for democrats because democrats promise them their continued dole every month. The millions of illegal aliens, once granted citizenship, will, for the most part, join the millions in this sub-class and add their votes to the democrat side of the ballot. THAT is the reason for the Comprehensive Immigration Bill… or the New Amnesty Bill.

The ignorance of the average American voter got us the socialist government we have today in America. Already we have seen a humongous decline in America, on all fronts, since the election of 2006 and it only quickened its pace upon the election of a socialist President in 2008.

Recently I wrote the following:

“We have said all along the problem with illegal immigration across our southern border could be fixed, almost immediately, if the government wanted it fixed. Now we know for certain that they do not want the southern border sealed. See, those are democratic voters coming across that invisible line headed north into the land of milk and honey and along side them on their northward trek is cheap labor!

Basically, Americans STILL want the border closed and sealed FIRST! It is common sense to stop the leak before bailing. Once the border is closed and sealed then taking care of those aliens here illegally can begin and mass deportations can begin.

Yes, Americans ARE angry with the illegal alien mess and the numerous attempts by our government to offer them amnesty, which would, in time, offer them citizenship. But, as Rasmussen learned when doing a survey, Americans are not mad at the illegal aliens. No! They/we are mad at our government for allowing this to happen in the first place!

Those of you who support open borders do not, I repeat, do not try to beat us about the head and shoulders with the old saw that says America is a nation of immigrants. See, we already know that because our ancestors were immigrants, too. Mine came into the country, legally, in 1789 through what was then Charles Town Harbor and were assigned a place in the 96th precinct of the state of South Carolina. Notice - they came into this country LEGALLY! That is all we expect of any who want to immigrate to America. Do it legally and we will welcome you with open arms. Do it illegally and we want you caught and deported forthwith!

It is becoming ever more clear, everyday, that America’s biggest problem with illegal immigration is not with those who illegally break into our country and help to bleed it dry, but with our government which refuses to uphold the laws already on the books. Had those laws been enforced we would not be in the situation we find ourselves today. Plus, the problem of what to do with these 12-plus million illegal aliens would not be a problem, at all, if the government would simply follow the laws on the books today.

The bottom line for Americans to ponder is… what do we do with a government that refuses to uphold/enforce the nation’s laws? Well, let me ask you - suppose you had a business and an employee consistently refused to follow the rules of the workplace. What would you do to that employee? See? The answer is simple. The ONLY way we are ever going to get relief from this problem is to clean the house in Washington.

My friend and fellow blogger, Alan Caruba, recently said in his piece entitled “A Crisis of Governors”: “What, in fact, Americans are witnessing is a failure of government at both the state and federal level. The nation has managed to elect too many people to public office that are so clearly inept, incompetent, and untrustworthy, it poses a threat to the republic.” Alan, as usual, is spot on. America’s most dangerous enemy, at the moment, is its own government! I would add that, in my opinion, America’s second worst enemy, at the moment, is its own ignorance. It was through the ignorance of the American electorate that these pitifully inept politicians were elected to office to begin with.

By the way, don’t buy the government’s argument that they cannot round up and deport the illegal aliens in our country today. The Eisenhower Administration managed to round up -- and deport -- 1 million and 3 hundred thousand illegal aliens in what was tagged “Operation Wetback” in 1954! I dare say with the technology we have today we could do a whole lot better… if the government just wanted to do it.
