Republican "Sell-Outs!"

Republican “Sell-Outs”

Fellow Republicans:

Below is the list of Senate Republicans who sold the Republican Party out with their “agreement” with the Democrats on the filibuster of Conservative Judicial Nominees:

Republicans:

Lincoln Chafee (Rhode Island)
Susan Collins (Maine)
Mike DeWine (Ohio)
Lindsey Graham (South Carolina)
John McCain (Arizona)
John Warner (Virginia)
Olympia Snowe (Maine)

The next election is next year. You know how to vote. Your choice is “clear cut”. At the moment, I am not sure who, among those listed above, will be up for election in ’06, but we Conservatives have looooong memories and the election of ‘08 is not that far away.

Remember, Sen. Frist needs only two votes, from just two of the seven Republicans above, to implement the “Constitutional Option”…. even now! There is still a chance he may pull the trigger when the Supreme Court Nominees are filibustered by the Democrats, as they are sure to be.

A couple of days ago, on this blog, I said I did not believe the Republicans would go through with it. Sadly, I was correct. It is one of those times I am truly sorry to be right!

And finally, how much longer must the Republican Party suffer the millstone of John McCain around our necks? When will he fold his tent and slip away?

McCain is the best man the Democrats have! When will his anger at President Bush, over the SC Primary, be spent? Any chance of McCain winning the Republican Presidential nomination in ’08 is gone! Would that McCain was gone from the ranks of the Republican Party!

  1. I was guided here by a link from MSNBC's "Connected Coast To Coast" which really is an awful show, but that's not what I wanted to say. I want to start off by saying that I agree on the fact that Sen. McCain is much more liberal than Conservatives. But to call this a sell-out, several more moderate senators meeting to end what honestly would have been an embarrassment to the Republican party: Not a bad thing. Sen. Delay is trying to conduct the Senate at the disposal of the U.S. Constitution.

I am glad this ugly showdown was averted. It would have been bad for both sides - which both are extremist parties. I can't really say much for either side except that I was once hardcore Conservative but I find myself on the middle of the road lately. Sorry to say it but this President is an extremist and an embarrassment.

  2. With respect, sir, there is no Senator Delay. Tom Delay is a Congressman from Texas, the Majority Whip in the US House of Representatives. Frankly, I wish he were in the Senate! the "Sell-Out" would never have happened.

    Thanks, for visiting "Insight".

  3. Longstreet...Great Blog...Great American...Next time you write a blog...Try the theme "What's The Point" in Americans being anti-American or anti-military, or anti-captialism, or anti-republic, or anti-Christian, and above all What's The Point" in being Pro-Islam. Unless you bow to the East and fanatically follow every doctrine of Allah, you are an Infidel anyway. I have yet to get a logical or reasonable answer from the liberals/democrats I know...Perhaps,Insight can. Insight is great.

  4. Mr Marquis is a person who exemplifies a lot of liberal Bush Bashing, Anti everything American, people who are clueless and only wake up after being robbed, or bombed, or 911ed. Then they want to assign responsiblity for the failure to others George W Bush is having problems, but, at least he has stepped to the plate. Perhaps, someway, somehow, someday others will step to the plate and help out instead of being critical. Monday morning QBs are the greatest they never lose and are always right. God Bless America and George W Bush.
