Guns Banned In England! Knives Next???

First they take away guns, and lo and behold, British criminals turn to knives as instruments of murder!

The Brits are allowing their citizens to turn in their knives, voluntarily, in a vain attempt to reduce the evil behavior of human beings within their realm.

I know, I know, this sounds like a joke to those of us who live in the REAL world. But to those who would ban guns in the US (because guns are EVIL), it is JUST as SURPRIZING that people would choose a knife to stab another human to death! Oh, NO, Oh, No!

You see… they have no concept of the evil that “lurks in the heart of man”.

As a former police officer, I have seen that evil, face to face, and it ain’t pretty. But it is real… VERY REAL.

Even a minimal student of history already knows that before guns were invented, people used knives to kill other people. Take away guns and, guess what? People revert to using knives! How can this be???

Some believe in the basic goodness of man. I don’t. I believe in the basic badness or “evil-ness” of man. We are born into evil. It is a part of us. Every human carries the will to murder in his being. We are predators! Consider the location of your eyes, in your head, for evidence of Nature’s equipment for humans as “predator beings”.

I constantly remind those, who would ban guns, that Cain slew Able… without a gun.

Until humans begin to understand that each individual is responsible for his, or her, actions and that nothing society can do will ever lessen man’s desire to partake of evil’s urge to murder, we will continue our vain attempts to eradicate that part of the human nature which calls on man to murder man. For it is in vain that we try.

Now, we can deny the truth of our murderous wills if we choose. It really makes no difference. We are who we are. Government can never change that.

So ban the gun in America, if you can get enough votes in the Congress to change the Constitution, but you will not ban murder. Americans bent on murder will find a means to accomplish that end. Just as the Brits have!
