Well, thanks to the Democrat Party, the Republican's conservative base is fired up and ready to go to the polls and vote for the Republican candidate(s)!
It is extremely difficult to measure the value of the Left Wing Democrats to the Republican Party. They motivate the GOP’s troops. They continually throw the necessary “red meat” to the Conservative core of the GOP. Yes, there is no doubt about it; the Democrat Party is the best friend the Republican Party could ever hope to have.
The hysteria on the Left about the ex-congressman Foley event has slipped the Left’s hold on sanity and they have plunged headlong into the abyss of “finger pointing” and shrill “screeching” before the cameras, and microphones, much in the fashion of a woman overcome with hysterics. All the while they are trying desperately to hide their very own sexual perverts, and predators, behind their very soiled skirts. Somehow, they have convinced themselves that nobody will notice, that voters will think of the Democrat Party as being as pure as the wind driven snow.
What a hoot!
The hysteria of the Democrats has caused them to, once again, overplay their hand. In recent years, the Left has shown time and again that they can be counted on to press beyond the pale to the point of tossing out human decency.
And they have done it again. It has happened so often that those of us on the right have come to realize that if we just stay quiet, and stay out of their way, they will eventually make public fools of themselves. Works every time!
The Left Wing Media… meaning “The Mainstream Media”, has shown, anyone willing to notice, that they are, no longer, the willing accomplices of the Left. They ARE the left!
This morning I tried to read my local “regional” newspaper (owned by the New York Times) but pushed it back, in disgust, as I do six mornings out of seven these days. Their Left Wing editorials and their Left Wing “slant” in their reporting of news events is so far to the Left that they make the writings of Karl Marx seem like the rantings of a right wing nut job!
Did you ever watch a college basketball game between two “in state” rivals and you see, what you believe is, the officials giving the team, opposing YOUR TEAM, all the breaks? Then you understand how conservatives feel when they read the Mainstream Media, or view the Mainstream Media TV News Channels. It’s right there, in front of our eyes, in black and white print or in color on TV.
The American voter is no longer the un-initiated voter. The American voter is “politics savvy” these days… as a result of the Internet.
Now, when I want to get the news, or get to the bottom of a story, I do not trust the American Mainstream Media. I turn to the Internet, and I immediately begin searching news sources off shore.
The way the Democrat Party has handled the Foley episode, and the way the press has handled it, only demonstrates that the two are joined at the hip. The water torture of drips and drabs, being released every single day, on what ceased to be a story last week, has caused the Conservative voter to realize that this approach to reporting this story, and milking this story, is a strategy of the Democrat Party in cooperation with the Mainstream Media, to drag the GOP through the mud in hopes of driving Conservative voters away from the polls in November. And… this strategy has backfired on the Democrats. They have insulted Conservatives.
Another example of the cooperation between the Democrat Party and the Mainstream Media is the bellicose way reporters assault the President’s press secretary. It is shameful and disgraceful. Mr. Snow should revoke the White House passes to the networks, and to the reporters of the print media, who cannot exercise some common courtesy during a press conference.
The Democrats "October Surprise" could well turn into a surprise for the Democrats… in November.

I've been watching the Foley scandal on FOX NEWS, and they seem to be treating the story fairly.

Huh? you must listen to Rush Limbaugh all day or something. The Foley-Page-Gate, is a Republican side show, as reported by The Hill, it was a Republican that was the source of the Foley e-mails.
Let's not forget that it is a Republican, Mark Foley (R-FL) that is the center of this scandal, and it is the Republican House leadership that's kept it under raps since, at least, 2000.
It's been the GOP that's jumped on the media train with this story, not to mention Republicans that are the ones pointing fingers at each-other.

Now that's the most laughable thing that you and your neo-con brethren continue to trumpet. I think you fail to realize that 1) the mainstream media, is BIG business, who contributes to Republicans more than Democrats, 2) Liberals, like myself, would hardly consider the mainstream media, left-wing. But that doesn't matter to you or your brethren, as it doesn't help your victim mentality.

I have a friend like you, he shot me down for suggesting that Halliburton was serving our troops contaminated water--"Halliburton employees are ex-military, they'd never do something like that." But unfortunately, he also subscribes to the Rush Limbaugh string of reality, and disregards Senate testimony and discounts witness statements from former Halliburton employees.
But hey, keep on truckin' dude.
I suggest you watch Hijacking Catastrophe, and wake up to the reality of the Bush administration.
