Is America Done For?

I have been concerned for some time, and I suspect that you have, too, about the state of the Republic… America.

America has become a hedonist nation, is quickly becoming a secular nation, and is adopting socialism hand over fist.

The America I knew, as late as the 1980’s, is no more. Our young people have no sense of obligation to the country. They know the cost of everything… but the value of nothing!

They have so distanced themselves from America that many feel she is not worth fighting for anymore.

We turned our children over to a public education system which has taken the opportunity to teach them Liberalism, Progressivism, Marxism and Socialism.

So we have a generation of selfish ingrates.

I was visiting “Opinionnation Times” the other day, and came across a post entitled:

We have something rotting away our core here in America. We cannot continue as a single nation unless this rot is removed. We may as well remove the word “indivisible” from our Pledge.

There was a time when I thought it was culture, alone, which has split us into two distinct nations inside the borders of one large nation. But, I think there is more to it than simply culture.

There was a time, in the not too distant past, when we had two cultures, that of North and South, but we managed to live together peacefully for the last 141 years.

Now, what is happening now will allow no compromise.

We have an entire section of the country, which is bound to turn itself into a socialist republic, if that is possible. The other part of the country is bond to remain free and a democratic republic. For an example of the socialism bound states, you have but to look at the state of Massachusetts.





The illegal immigration problem may bring this all to a head. The Southern states are only going to allow this to continue for a short period more, and then they will rise up, as they have twice before, and “handle” the situation.

When the socialist states attempt to interfere, they will be repulsed. At that point the end will be nigh. The socialist states will have to withdraw from the union. I, for one, will not miss them. And… I will not lift a finger to force them to remain. If they wish to form their own country, or join Canada, by all means let them.

In the meantime, those of us who still wish to live free are going to have to get a handle on the southern border. It is clear the federal Government is not up to the task and is not motivated to do it... even if they were up to it. Judging from the most recent Senate Immigration Bill, the Senate, along with the President, is/are just as willing, and eager, to give America away as the Mexicans are to take it!

The American citizen has a God given right to self-defense. When the violence begins, I would ask defense attorneys to remind jury members of that.
