Carter II… Bill Moyers for President???

Some on the American Left have put forward the name of Bill Moyers as a candidate for the Democrat nomination for President in 2008.

Still not over the absolutely awful administration of the sanctimonious leftist, Jimmy Carter, I was momentarily shocked and stunned that anyone, in their right mind, would even think of restoring the Carter Presidency, arguably the worse Presidency in the history of the United States, with the possible exception of the administration of William Jefferson Blythe Clinton. It has been said that Carter made the Presidency a "Joke". Clinton made it a "Dirty Joke"!!

Jimmy Carter is nearly as far left as Ho Chi Min, of North Vietnam, was. Bill Moyers? Well he’d make Carter look like a crazy-eyed Rightist!

Moyers, one time press secretary to LBJ, one time Baptist preacher, one time commentator on the Left wing PBS, is a walking disaster as a candidate for President.

I can see the bumper stickers now: “If You Liked Jimmy Carter… you’re gonna Love BILL!!!”

Heck, I was so hoping, when Jimmy Carter left office, that he’d get lost, somewhere on that peanut farm in Plains, and disappear from public life. No such luck. He laid low for a few years then crept back into the spotlight, on the world’s political stage, and now, as a result, we have three world threatening situations we can lay at the door of Jimmy Carter: North Korea, Hamas in Gaza, and Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. Heck, I might as well add the crisis with Iran. Carter invited the Shah of Iran to the US, for medical treatment, in the 70’s, and that began the turmoil which led to the Iranian Hostage Crisis, which lasted 444 days, and cost the lives of a number of US service men in a badly bungled rescue attempt and… has led us, unerringly, to the situation we have today with Iran on the threshold of becoming a nuclear power.

For such a little fellow Carter got this nation into a world of trouble!

… And Moyers is more Leftist than Carter.

See, this is the kind of talk, which should remove any lingering doubt that the Democrat Party is anything but socialist.

… And they’re talking about MOYERS as a presidential candidate! Oh my GAWD!!!

I continue to say the election in November is about the security of this nation. It is!
