Et tu, Rush???
Et tu, Rush???
On Thursday evening, Rush Limbaugh is to appear on the CBS evening news and have ninety seconds to sound off in a sort of “guest editorial”.
I don’t like it!
I’ve listened to his explanation... which boiled down to it’s finest is: he is taking the message to the “lost” on the left, enlightening the “Dark Side”, etc. I don’t buy it. I can only believe he has fallen to the Left’s temptation!
As much as it pains me to say it, I have concluded that Mr. Limbaugh has succumbed to the wiles and the temptations of the Left’s glittering pinnacle of fame. I’m terribly afraid that Rush has fallen to that poison which infected our conservative Congressman and Senators… “They want to be “liked by the left wing media”! It is a deadly poison and it leads to a career death, and eventually, erasure from the collective mind of the public.
I am very afraid Rush has tasted of the poison fruit.
It is not enough for Rush to “explain” to his myriad of listeners, and supporters, who have stood by him through thick and thin, good times and bad, it just isn’t enough.
What is needed… is for Rush to ask that CBS “pull” the segment of this Thursday’s CBS news and replace it with something, or someone, else. Anything less is unacceptable.
I would admonish Rush with the words of Julius Caesar, as penned by William Shakespeare: “Et tu, Brute???”

Oh please, left wing media my butt. When are you guys going to stop touting that facticious malarky. when the government screws up the people need to know, no matter who is in office, you guys don't like it since Nixon spouted this left wing media crap when HE got caught with HIS hands in the damn cookie jar. Why should the media sit on that? The media in this country gave George a free pass on his run up to the war in Iraq, as they did on election fraud, the meetings between Dick Cheney and the execs. at the oil comapnies in 2000. Clinton was asked more about oral than these guys were about real mis steps and over steps of their authority. Where is this left wing media I so badly crave. If it were real left wing media lunatics like Oreily, Limbaugh, Hannity, Larry Kudlow and the like would be off the air. If the media is so liberal why did MSNBC fire Donahue because he was the only one looking objectionably at why we were invading Iraq and wanted to inform the public rather than blindly flag wave and cheerlead like the facist press in this nation? Blind-over the top Nationalism and facism go hand in hand, goverments sieze powers by starting wars (sometimes as in the case of Iraq illegaly) then use the angle if you are against the war, you are with our enemy mauntra, all the while increasing government powers on the premis that you need those powers to wil the war...... Sound familiar. Just something for you to "chew on" ole' buddy. Have a good day Suh!
ReplyDeleteI was disappointed in this decision by Rush, too. It smacks of giving "aid and comfort to the enemy".
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at this also. Rush gives very few interviews. I think Katie is going down fast. We watched her first show, just to see what was going on. We had to force ourselves to sit through it. It was torture, it was awful. It was actually pathetic. She just wants Rush for ratings. I'm a little disappointed he did it, but we will watch just because it's Rush. The interview was already recorded a few days ago.
ReplyDeleteJust a fine example of our "liberal" media trying to pin something on someone who eas't even in office when 911 happened.
ReplyDeleteTop officials of the Clinton administration have launched a preemptive strike against an ABC-TV "docudrama," slated to air Sunday and Monday, that they say includes made-up scenes depicting them as undermining attempts to kill Osama bin Laden.
Former secretary of state Madeleine K. Albright called one scene involving her "false and defamatory." Former national security adviser Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger said the film "flagrantly misrepresents my personal actions." And former White House aide Bruce R. Lindsey, who now heads the William J. Clinton Foundation, said: "It is unconscionable to mislead the American public about one of the most horrendous tragedies our country has ever known."
ABC can't buy this kind of advertising for this show! They know it, too! If they are smart, they'll let it ride and put the show on uncut, Their ratings will be off the charts!
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is... the "clintonistas" are doing all the promotion this show will ever need... and then some! The more noise they make about it, the more people are drawn to it. They would have been far better off to have remained silent and let it slide.
Makes no difference now, the show will be broadcast and if, by some quirk of fate, it is not broadcast on ABC, you can bet it will make it onto an independent network and, of course, onto the Internet.
Hey,man... if the democrats can't handle a TV movie, how the heck do they plan to handle the terrorists and Iran?? Seems to me, their bellowing about this movie tells us all we need to know about these thin skinned charlatans.
